I have both a Thai drivers and a motorcyclist license and have been driving in Asia for over thirty years.
What does this have to do with your comment that " the motorcycles re suppose to travel on the left of the LEFT lane! not the middle of the left lane! "
I was replying to your comment, "really? where does it say that?" don't remember your ownopost? lookit up!

Rubbish. Are you a BIB?
no. just a falong who has a thai drivers license and has been driving in thailand for over twenty years! mostly up country where the action is on two lane roads that are made into three or four lanes by THAI drivers!

Really! Where does it say that? Certainly not in the Land Traffic Act. Unless overridden by a local bye-law then nothing should drive in the 'safety zone'.
it says that in thethai driving book! also in the thai drivers license bureau when they and YOU have to watch a slide show showing all the dead people who do not obey the so called traffic laws! do you have a thai drivers license? if you do then that was a stupid question! and there is no such thing as a "safety" zone in reality! where do you think you are? in the western world?

the motorcycles re suppose to travel on the left of the LEFT lane! not the middle of the left lane! but they must think that all people will look out for them. not true!

a few years ago I was driving behind a thai who was in a pick up truck. he had his dog on a long leash in the back, the dog was standing with his paws on the side of the truck when the driver lurched forward knocking the dog over the side and he was hanging by his neck with his hind legs just barely touching the ground. I honked my horn several times to try to get his attention bur he just kept driving with his head up his ass! I then pulled around him and cut him off! got out of my car and pointed to the dog who was strangling. the fool just looked at me so I picked the dog up and put him back in the truck and then clinched my fist
at him and made a motion of hitting him, at that time he finally got the message and went around me and drove off.but i did have traffic stopped in both directions.

Daylight robbery with the help of people working at the resort no doubt,
amazing how the criminal minds are working to come up with new ways
to robe people, but in any case, the hotel should be held fully responsible
for the loss and should compensate the ladies back fully as the theft happened
on their premises under their control.....
in your dreams! the hotel will not ave to pay a penny! and the chinese have learned a valuable lesson, DON't book a cheap hotel!

talk about being on candid camera! those guys will be recognised all over the kingdom.
having said that, it is foreigners on thai's for a change. notice that the boy seems not to be beat up badly, not like the old folks were when a bunch of thai punks beat and kicked them on the ground. guess the foreigners were not as experienced at kicking people on the ground.

You obviously have no idea and are most likely a one time visitor to Thailand so I will try just one time. As it has been in existence for 13 years, your rather slow on the take up.
I am familiar with the elite visa! and I am familiar with the cost of 500.000 Thai baht up front fee and the 20 year visa with a 2million baht up front fee and a 20,000 baht yearly fee! how many people do you think would put out that kind of money to live in a third world country with the political situation constantly changing? did you? have you got an elite visa? it is/was a scam to fool idiots like you into paying all that money up front! remember when they cancelled that visa not to long ago? AND I am not a one time visitor to this country, I got her the first time in 1969 and have been here for seventeen years.

human rights and thailand mentioned in the same sentence? you got to be kidding me!

As far as the retiement extentsion goes,2 pages of forms, just basic stuff,a letter from the bank and an updated bangbook.Any less than that and you would be just shaking hands with the IO.
louse I do not understand your post. I was asking for a multi year visa, the paperwork is and has always been a small problem. but if you are living her for life or at least ten years a multi year visa would be best. so far i have gotten sixteen yearly visa's the biggest change has been the price increase!
-
TAT:
easing up on the yearly visa paperwork may have a good start, also if an expat has been in thailand five or ten years, how about a bi yearly visa? having been here so long you would think that the expat does have a desire to live here.

how would they use art 44 to solvethe traffic problem? do they even have the slightest idea? would they shoot up the place? place all drivers in jail? put police on the roads to do what? they hardly never leave their police boxes now! take for instance the box on the corner of soi four and sukhumvit. I have never, NEVER seen the police even leave the box to go,to the bath room! even when there is s monstrous traffic jam on the corners!

anything that has "true" in it really sucks! their website and internet service and especially their TV service! all they do is pass on current programming from the redst of asia and their english programs are much less than their Thai programs, they don't have popular programs that other providers have such as fox news, C.I. FYI, and others, it seems that if they have to apy for it they don't get it even though they are charging to juch for their packages except for the thai packages. 1,556. baht for gold? for that price I got over 200 channels in the U.S. just recently! called them once and asked if I could subscribe to a certain program, was told no! if there was any other tv service provider up here in Ubon, I would drop true in a heart beat! as it is I have to rely on my computer to watch TV!

The boiler rooms have been active here for years but the predominantly Brits, Canadians and Americans who typically run them aren't banned, are they? If farangs who come to the kingdom were vetted beforehand, I doubt there'd be even half as many of us here as there are
speak for yourself tonto! I can freely go anywhere in the free world I want to because I do not have a criminal record, my paperwork is ALWAYS in order and I present a neat clean appearance to the immigration people AND I am Polite!

Arm Worawit from Matichon Online tweeted that her hospital bill had reached 745,443 Baht a week ago. Probably much more than that now.
Good to hear she had insurance and that she can focus on her recovery.
Hope the BiB don't use her departure as an excuse to drop the case and the scum goes away for a long time.
who said she had insurance? back packers almost always do not have anything remotely like insurance. hope she learns something about traveling alone in thailand.
-
Oh No! not a nigerian! everyone knows that those people are law abiding, in other words what else is new? those scum bags have been active in thailand for years! and still they are not banned or vetted before coming in to the kingdom!

Is there a heterosexual lobby- are you beaten up or killed because of your sexuality?
Would be very grateful - how on earth is this related to the ' so called homosexual lobby' ?
Will wait for your enlightened reply
it is the homosexual lobby that is/was pushing for sex change surgery in Prisons! google it. do you think that the little homosexual could come up with this on his own? get a life, if you want to defend the homosexuals do so, but check things out before you reply. if I told you what I REALLY think about this the moderators
would be banning me AGAIN! so use your imagination.

Once again the army caves into the homosexual lobby! A tax paid operation for a convicted criminal! Disgusting!
