  1. AN ultimatum to the Russians, now that the Ukrainians are on a roll in the Black Sea: "Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine's Security Council said there were two options for the future of the Russia's Black Sea fleet - voluntary or forced "self-neutralisation". If it did not choose the voluntary option, it "will be sliced up like a salami," he said on X". Ukraine attacks Russian Black Sea navy HQ in Crimea | Reuters
  2. A Telegraph video of one of the missiles hitting the headquarters. Note the civilians in the foreground watching with no apparent fear for their lives, and then calmy discussing it afterwards. One side purposefully targets civilians, the other goes about the business of attacking the enemy's military, with little to no collateral damage, and those on the ground know it. Ukraine is saying they attacked the headquarters because a high level meeting of Russian naval leaders was taking place there, and that senior commanders were amongst the casualties.
  3. I would never ignore anyone who has opposing political, religious or lifestyle views - it helps to know your "enemy", or at least have a good laugh at them. However I recently, for the first time in 15 years on the forum, put three tedious members on ignore. No names, but I'm sure many can guess who they are. I only wish the function carried over to blocking threads they start, or at least stopped them appearing on the thread list on the right of the screen. I have no wish at all to read their threads or trolling posts.
  4. She needs to see another doctor. That's at least the 5th time she's been in to see him with that complaint.
  5. And his allies will only buy his gas and oil at heavily reduced prices.
  6. The only evidence of the email(s) in the article linked to in the OP is a blurry photo of a phone showing a document from the FMCU, which is the Department of Forensic Medicine at Chulalongkorn University so would appear to be either a coroners report, or a death certificate. The only bits my weary eyes can make out say the deceased was aged 24, and was found at 09:40 on Sukhumvit Soi 50. I can't see any date, but in any case, it would be quite easy for a reporter to find out if they really issued this document and who forwarded it to her, and ask the mother to show a clearer image of this, and any other emails she received. I wonder, if a UK coroner or Dr issued a death certificate on a deceased Thai national in the UK, would basic courtesy dictate that they write it in Thai? Edit: I looked at this story in the UK press, and the only proof of these emails is the same photo. Why isn't there a clearer one, given it plays such a large part in her accusations? I'm also wondering if she saw the date on the death certificate and thinks it's wrong because the year is given as 2566?
  7. A timely interview, given this thread. Former Vice Chief of Staff for the US Army, General Jack Keane, details why it's worth spending $100 billion to stop Putin, and why he thinks support will continue, calling it "an incredible return on the investment". Seems like the only ones calling for this support to be dropped are those pushing a pro Putin agenda.
