  1. Just to remind everyone that you need to use peoples proper names and not slang or nicknames... i have edited the posts that contained nick names thus far, but i will simply delete posts without notification from now onwards if you use slang/nick names. Thanks!

why?whats the agenda in this so call free speech forum?

I don't feel that asking people to use Political figures actual real names infringes on anyone's free speech.

  2. This is just not a rational response. I would hope that you want to insure that your family is also safe. Why would you begrudge any other person of the same concern.

On the other hand if you would not have soncerns for your family it would explain the hatred in your post.

    Please control you hatred.

    Regards,

    Well Khun James,

I just hope that no blood is spilled this weekend, otherwise he will be responsible for the injured/deceased members of other peoples families, whilst protecting his own family... doesn't that look a little bit like cowardice to you?

  3. If they said they were staying and attending the rallies they would get slated for incitement, they leave the country they get slated. maybe they should just sit at home and wait for the stitch up that will surely follow.

Actually, in my eye they would get more respect if they attended/lead the rallies... they would loose no respect if they sat in their Bangkok home and waited/watched... but loose a bucket load of respect for fleeing a few days before it all starts...

  4. Yes Wolfie, you're on the mark,

this is the final signal that things will go Pear Shaped...

A replay of the BS. and disinformation of Songkran last,

as he let his little cockroach like spawn scuttle off to the shadowy corners.

    Such as truly sad family.

If the man had any balls he would fly into the country (or cross by land) Thursday/Friday and lead the protests... i am fairly sure his dedicated red shirt followers would keep the police away from him (and lets be honest here, if you were a Thai policeman, would you try to arrest him if hes surrounded by 100,000 loyal supporters?)

His family leaving the country is clear evidence that *he* is expecting something to go down... If this were to be the peaceful protest the reds claim, why does his ex-wife and offspring need to flee the country? Yes indeed, this does not bode well... even my Thais friends are very concerned about this weekends activities, most of them getting out of BKK this weekend.

Time to hole up with a case of beer and a load of Mama noodles, this could be a rough ride guys!

  5. Thanks again. My router is not wifi. It was supplied from TOT when I signed up for ADSL. It is a BILLION BiPAC 5210S Duel-Port ADSL2+ Modem/Router if this is of some help.

That rules out the WiFi being the problem...

  6. Sounds like your router is a wifi router and someone else is logging on to it and using your net connection - my first suggestion would be to lock down the Wifi access with a password.

Give me the make and model of the router and i will try to dig up some instructions for you from da'interweb

  7. Wow big crime doing some drugs.. come on the guy did not harm anyone to pay for his habit.

But ok this is Thailand and drugs are bad.

Well if hes a TV Star he could be seen as some kind of Role Model for the more impressionable masses - and its not like he was toking on a Joint or something, hes doing a serious class-A Drug (where i come from)

Prosecute according to the law, if the press coverage is enough to make at least one teenager NOT start taking drugs - its worth while.

  8. Once the IP if the laptop is ascertained, it can be traced each time it is used.

So a pattern can be discerned and logical repeats mapped and the culprit found.

Your thinking of the MAC address, not the IP Address... IP addresses can change depending on providers etc, True for instance will change your IP address about once per day with an always-on ADSL connection. Its safe to assume that each time you connect to your ISP you will be given a new IP Address from a range of IP numbers they use. Typically you have to pay to use the same IP address each time (Static IP addresses)

Think of the MAC address as the serial number on your Network card/Wireless card - its pretty much unique and is hardware orientated - it is possible to spoof MAC addresses and/or change MAC addresses, but most people dont really know anything about them, so it does take a little specialised knowledge to do this :)

Thats in lay-man terms and may not be completely 100% correct, but gives you a basic understanding :D
