  1. I have the Leoncini 500 (not the trail version). All I can say is that it's a comfortable easy ride, with good engine and gearbox. Plenty enough power. The headlight looks fancy but is not very good. One thing I miss is a center stand. I don't understand why so many bikes are made without one.
  2. From the full story in Phuket Express: “At this stage, it is believed that the motorbike caught fire from a battery which was just fully charged was put under the motorbike seat. The cost of damages is estimated at about 30,000 baht.”
  3. Like my father said when he lost more than 50% of his hair before the age of 30: "Only women and stupid men have hair on their head."
  4. I think your post is spot on. I just doubt that 99 percent of the motorcyclist in Thailand have been to a riding school. I´ve taken the test for the license for both car and motorcycle here and its laughable.
  5. We really shouldn't bring all our western values to the comment box here. They are not universal.
  6. Example: My passport is Norwegian. My legal residence is Denmark. My application for a 90 day Non O was processed by the Thai Embassy/Consulate in Copenhagen.
  7. There's a small shop on the ground floor of Central Airport on the left side not far from Tops. He might be interested.
  8. Why should it be either or? Wouldn't it be best to do both? Then maybe the farmers would change their way and move into the 21st century.
  9. I never understood why some (many?) people don't see the difference between a race track and a public road!
  10. From the original article: "Costs for antigen tests will be adjusted to 350 baht and 250 baht, depending on the type of test kit, which must be for professional use. The daily expenses for admission to “hospitels” will be 1,000 baht, the same as that charges for home isolation." Does this mean that you are charged 1,000 a day for isolation in you own home?
  11. You should just assume everybody you meet is infected. Here in Denmark the daily infections have been around 50,000 for the last few weeks, and that with a population of less than 10 percent of Thailand's. So I don't think the number of infections matter anymore. The number of people in ICU and deaths from Covid are what matters I think.
  12. No, I'm in Europe at the moment. Maybe it was easy for me due to the fact that I've had Non-O for 14 years before, just not the last 2 years due to Covid.
  13. Actually it is possible to get a Non-O for 90 days online: https://thaievisa.go.th It worked for me recently.
  14. And here in Denmark there were 28 000 new cases in a population of about 60% of Sweden (and less than 10% of Thailand) and. Soon everyone will have been infected and that is what most people hope for since the hospitals have managed pretty ok so far. Many experts here are now saying, take care of the vulnerable and let the rest go back to normal.
  15. I very much doubt it does. I know mine doesn't. One of the points under what is not covered is "Injuries as a result of air sports, e.g. microplanes, hang / paragliding, skydiving."
  16. He did indeed. From the article referred to in the OP: "While it would seem that the Glasgow deforestation pledge would have been inline with expressed or espoused military interests, Thailand under Prayut refused to sign. A reasonable answer is difficult to find."
  17. He did once some years ago. Ordered it fixed, and then a few weeks later the rainy season started. So that was that.
  18. I actually had one. Bought in 2007 I think.
