OK. So lies are OK now? Total falsehoods are fine? Making stuff up out of thin air, out of extreme frustration? Sorry, but your moral bankruptcy has disqualified you from any future dialogue. See ya!

Well you seem to be color blind in this particular situation, it is the disproportionate nature of the response on the part of Israel, that has alienated the entire planet and made Israel even more of a pariah throughout the world than they already were. With the exception of Russia in Ukraine, and possibly the US in Vietnam, there have been few war campaigns in modern history, that have been conducted with such extreme disregard for the civilian population as the Israeli campaign in Gaza. To many people it feels like a deliberate attempt to wipe that area off the face of the map. Do you really despise the Palestinian people that much, that you can't see it for what it is? -
Kudos to this outstanding two time Olympic gold medal winner. Her coach is the most successful coaches in the history of the Olympics, for Thailand, so I certainly understand him celebrating her victory too. No doubt it was a victory for not only both of them, but for the entire nation. Kudos to Panipak! 6 medals to date for Thailand. #1 in ASEAN, in total medals, with the PI 2nd with 4. ‘Panipak Kick’, also known as ‘scorpion kick’ on the scene, is one of her featured techniques that makes her unbeatable. “Much like a scorpion raise its tail to attack, she raises her leg from the backside and strikes the trunk protector. This kick is usually challenging for taekwondo athletes, as many of them have often been trained to kick from the front. “However, we trained our athletes to kick behind their back by practising with a ball for one hour each day. This was to enable them to apply this kick when an opponent’s head is behind of their back. She was the only one who managed to master that skill perfectly.” https://olympics.com/en/news/panipak-wongpattanakit-coach-chatchai-choi-training-taekwondo Dr. Chatchai Choi, Instructors of Department of Sport and Health Science, Kasetsart University and coach of Olympic gold medalist and two-time world champion Panipak Wongpattanakit from Thailand, spoke about his special relationship with the 49-kg fighter and his innovative training methods that include mental resilience strategies. Panipak, the first Thai Olympic taekwondo champion, met Dr. Chatchai Choi when she was 13 years old. Choi, formerly known as Choi Young Seok, recently acquired Thai citizenship after naturalizing from South Korea. “Since 2002, in preparation for the Busan Asian Games, I have served as the head coach of the Thai national taekwondo team. Thailand, the homeland of Muay Thai, was determined to cultivate a national taekwondo presence, leading to my invitation,” he shared in an exclusive interview. His appointment marked the first instance of a Korean, and indeed any foreigner, taking on this role. Two years later, he led the Thai national team to its first Olympic medal with Yaowapa Boorapolchai earning bronze in the 49kg weight category at Athens 2004. Ultimately, his special bond with Panipak ushered in a new era of Thai taekwondo, culminating in the country’s first Olympic gold medal at Tokyo 2020, held in 2021.

It is very important for this party, the party of the people, the party that the people chose to lead this country, and the party most capable of engaging in reform and positive change, to stay relevant. However they can do so is a good thing for the nation. Defy the dinosaurs, and dangerous, regressive politics, with every nanogram of power within your being.

Well one could argue that there might not be a need to have a massage, however for those of us that are susceptible to ingrown toenails not having a pedicure is not only poorly advised, it can be downright dangerous and very painful. Fortunately my woman learned how to do a pedicure, she does an excellent job, we have all the correct instruments, and the conditions are very sanitary. The women who used to give me a pedicure rarely did a good job, I often times ended up with my the skin on my large toes bleeding, and that would often lead to an infection.

Government to Crack Down on Low-Quality Chinese Imports
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Does this mean that 95% of all Chinese imports will be banned? Because that's how many are low quality, the only ones that aren't low quality are the ones that are supervised by American or Japanese companies during the manufacturing process. -

Thai PM Dismisses US Criticism of Move Forward Party Dissolution
spidermike007 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I will make a most optimistic prediction. There will never be another military coup here. Think about it. The moral authority that backed the coups in the past, is long gone. And the army does not have the guts to wage war against their people, Burmese style. It won't happen. The Thai families of the soldiers would never tolerate their sons murdering innocent Thais. The moms would say "you murder one Thai, and you are never welcome in our family home again. Listen to me. Do not do this". And you would have massive army defections. Who will fight at that point? Not the cowardly generals? They would flee into exile with their billions, and the army might collapse, or give up, at that point. One of the fundamental differences, is the Thai soldiers are not facing the level of desperation the young Burmese are. The poverty here is not as grinding as it is in Burma. I do not think it could be sustained, if the fools started it. Thailand is a very different culture than Burma, on a dozen significant levels. And the youth now, are very different people than they were during past coups, which were violent. and were supported with a sort of moral authority, which is gone now. Plus all the cowardly Thai Army has to do is look at what's happening in Burma right now, with the their toxic abs genocidal army getting overrun by resistance fighters, and they would not move forward. -
Yes, dementia, cognitive decline, and partial insanity should not be a factor, in choosing the leader of the free world.

Name a single VP who accomplished alot. Bet you can't. I do give you credit for your persistence. You must be retired. And this must be your only job. In a speech earlier this year, former President Trump was mocking President Biden’s ability to walk through sand when he suddenly switched to talking about the old Hollywood icon Cary Grant. “Somebody said he Biden looks great in a bathing suit, right? When he was in the sand and he was having a hard time lifting his feet through the sand, because you know, sand is heavy. They figure three solid ounces per foot. But sand is a little heavy. And he’s sitting in a bathing suit. Look, at 81, do you remember Cary Grant? How good was Cary Grant, right? I don’t think Cary Grant — he was good. I don’t know what happened to movie stars today,” he said at a March rally in Georgia. Trump went on to talk about contemporary actors, Michael Jackson, and border policies before returning to the theme of how Biden looks on the beach. At STAT’s request, four experts reviewed four clips of Trump’s speeches in recent months, and compared them to speeches from 2017. Several noticed Trump’s 2024 speeches included more short sentences, confused word order, and repetition, alongside extended digressions such as Trump’s comments on Biden and Cary Grant, or in another speech, comments on banking abruptly giving way to Trump lamenting the cost of electric cars. Although Michaelis said he couldn’t offer a formal diagnosis, he said Trump’s speaking style was cause for concern. “There’s reasonable evidence suggestive of forms of dementia,” he said. “The reduction in complexity of sentences and vocabulary does lead you to a certain picture of cognitive diminishment.” In addition to shorter sentences, Michaelis noticed Trump using words in the wrong order or inventing words, which adds to confusion in understanding him, and can be signs of cognitive problems that come either with natural aging or conditions such as Alzheimer’s. Very alarming stuff. Trump is very, very old. And wierd. https://www.statnews.com/2024/08/07/trump-mental-health-linguistic-analysis-suggests-potential-cognitive-decline-experts-say/

Thai PM Dismisses US Criticism of Move Forward Party Dissolution

Perhaps, more like a gentle junta, run as an unelected autocracy. -
In my opinion he started to fade in the last year of his presidency. He may have had a minor stroke. Since then, it has been a steady downhill path. Far less coherent than in the past, very hard for him to continue a sentence for more than 15 seconds, alot of rambling, complaining, playing the victim card, and juvenile name calling as usual. Even most of the CEO's he met with a month ago were shocked at how lacking his message was. His cognitive decline is alarming. And now, he seems to regret his choice of Vance, and seems very stressed out over Harris. Can't blame him for that. He does seem to be imploding.
-
Well I am man enough to admit that Harris was not my first choice, but I would take Miley Cyrus over Trump, so I'm happy to jump on the Harris bandwagon.
-
I would go so far as to say both the state of politics and the quality of life are pathetic in the US, unless you're a multi-millionaire. I do agree both parties are poor choices, and it just a question of which one is the least terrible choice.
-
Trump was a 5 time draft dodger, and Vance avoided fighting by taking photos instead. Very proud of them?
-
Vance could not destroy anything other than a very, very large bag of potato chips. The man is an empty suit, who shoots himself in the foot most of the time he speaks.
-
Agree. And he is not very talented when it comes to using new material. He is a broken record. So is Vance. So far, Harris/Walz are outshining them. I do agree she needs to do some interviews and the debate in hostile territory. It would make her look stronger.

Thai PM Dismisses US Criticism of Move Forward Party Dissolution

Very rich. Coming from a proxy PM, who was not elected by the people, but rather appointed by the elites, to avoid progress and reform. What he really meant to say is that progress, honoring a democracic rule, and moving the nation forward into a bright future are meaningless. Compared to greed, profit, maintaining the status quo, and worshiping the Golden Calf. His level of insincerity is mind boggling. Srettha. The do nothing PM.- 115 replies

Minnesota’s violent crime rate — a composite measure including homicide, rape, robbery and aggravated assault — shot up precipitously starting in 2020. The causes aren’t entirely clear, but the pandemic seems to have led to a rise in antisocial behavior, while the police killing of George Floyd and the rioting and unrest that followed drove subsequent upheavals in policing. Total violent crime in the U.S. did not follow a similar trend, although most of the country did see a major spike in homicides, which account for a small fraction of violent crime totals. Nevertheless, violent crime in Minnesota remains well below the U.S. average and has fallen sharply since peaking in 2021. https://minnesotareformer.com/2024/07/31/how-minnesota-changed-during-tim-walzs-tenure/ Walz’s first term was largely defined by the gridlock of divided government and crisis management in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the aftermath of the police murder of George Floyd. But once Democrats swept control of state government in the 2022 elections with Walz at the top of the ticket, they passed one of the most significant progressive agendas in the nation’s recent history with just a single-seat Senate majority. Walz represented a Republican-leaning district in the U.S. House and was widely seen as the more centrist of the two leading Democratic candidates for governor, but he’s become a champion of progressive policy as governor. With few exceptions, Walz supported what the Democratic majorities in the state House and Senate could muster the votes to pass. Those bills — ranging from protecting abortion access to speeding up energy permitting to increasing protections against wage theft — have excited the nation’s Democratic base, which is beginning to learn about the trifecta’s work over the past two years. https://minnesotareformer.com/2024/08/07/heres-what-tim-walz-has-done-as-governor-of-minnesota/
