Fantastic news. Hopefully hundreds will be at the airport to bid him farewell. He was one of those people who seems to have brought misery with him, everywhere he went. Thailand does not need him, nor want him. Urs David Fehr brings nothing to the table. He is an empty suit. A waste of space. A toxic mass. He will not be missed. He took his life here for granted, mistreated good folks, and now he is paying the price. See ya!

This is a very unfortunate development for Jews around the world, the terrible aspect of this is that it was brought on by Israel. Israel may not have started it, but the completely disproportionate response that they brought to the Gaza issue has alienated peoples and nations worldwide. And it has isolated Israel to a rather extreme place, and has angered billions of people around the world. Where this is going to go I don't know, but every country with common sense and reason should distance themselves from Israel as far as is humanly possible. They are completely out of control and have been taken over by hateful extremists war mongers. I say this as an American Jew, so don't even consider calling me anti - semetic. This is about Israel. This is not about how I feel about Jews.

There is really not a lot I can say to you guys because I know that you've bought off my guys, and since my guys are completely compromised there's a limited amount of recourse that we have in addressing the multitude of your crimes. However, I have to make it appear as if I'm doing something because I am Deputy PM after all, so I have to at least appear to be slightly better than useless. And I have to at least appear to not be a do-nothing man like my boss the PM.

Some people just have this look about them, you can tell that they're serial bullies, you can tell that they've been getting away with nonsense and inflicting lain on others, their entire life. You can tell they haven't been taken to task properly and that's just their M.O. In this particular case this guy obviously kicked the wrong woman, thinking she was just a peasant and now a storm is being unleashed upon his house. Which is a wonderful thing. Every once in awhile these stories have a great ending as is the case here. Let us hope he faces severe punishment, severe consequences, and a world of hurt, for his thoughtless, callous, and disrespectful actions. They truly demonstrate what a goombah this tiny, toxic man is.

Good luck to you, that's going to be a pretty tough job convincing people, after your idiot client already published his own video of the crime that he committed. I don't know who the right guy is to send down to Phuket to investigate this, but it is certainly not Anutin. He is a do-nothing politician and he spent the last decade proving that. And it would not help to get the big joke involved either as he's just a showboat. I'm not sure what the solution is here, maybe the locals need to take things into their own hands.

No idea. I lived in Florida when I was quite young. I would not move back there if they gave me a free house. It is not a terrible place. But, it offers very little in the way of culture, other than some Cuban art in Miami.

I have frequently heard Thais making derogatory comments about Indians. Apparently they feel some sort of false sense of superiority over them. Perhaps it is over something as silly as lighter skin?

I think you nailed it, this is a guy who has always been he's been making trouble wherever he goes, and it finally caught up to him. Like you said he probably thought she was just some simple peasant girl, when in reality she's probably a very popular doctor with a very decent father, who likely went her overseas to study, has some influence, and does not appreciate a slob kicking his daughter around. Power to him. And they're coming after him, which is wonderful. It's a fantastic finish to a bizarre story that was caused by a man totally lacking in perspective, totally lacking anything in the way of social skills or dignity, unhinged and mad at the world. And totally lacking any kind of gratitude for the life that he's been given. This tiny moron is living beachfront! What is wrong with him? What kind of mental disease does this idiot have? Doesn't he get anything? He likely does now.

I agree that sometimes it's over the top, but in this particular instance I think it's warranted, and I think it's wonderful. This guy deserves all the bad publicity he gets, all the humiliation that's heaped upon him, and all the scorching of his name and reputation that they can possibly muster up. This isn't an isolated incident, this is one of a number of instances over the years. This clown is toxic.

I'm usually the one on these posts criticizing Israel for their disproportionate response to the Hamas attacks, but in this particular case mobs attacking Jews calling them names, and getting in their faces is just not right. That is racist, and that is very very ugly. Unfortunately, things seem to get be getting more divided, and worse and worse by the day in the US. I'm not sure what the end result of that is going to be, but I don't think it's going to be pretty. Frankly I think Trump gave hateful Americans permission to demonstrate their hatred in an open and notorious manner. He was the divider in chief. And the 44th worst ever.

It looked to me like the guy was marching towards them from the back as they were facing the beach, so I don't even think they saw him until they were kicked. Again I don't see what the big deal is here, they were just sitting down on the steps. Any polite person would have said excuse me and they likely would have just gotten up and moved. A buffoon, an idiot, a clown, a self entitled nut job runs up to someone who is sitting on their steps and kicks them. Where is any sense of grace or decorum, and why such a sense of entitlement and arrogance?

Not only a harsh lesson in Thai culture, but a harsh lesson in life. First of all it's likely this fool has been getting away with this kind of callous and ugly behavior for many years now. And it's likely that a lot of the reaction from this is due to the fact that this man is quite affluent, has very good fortune in this life, and yet what is he doing with it other than making everyone around him miserable? I don't side with somebody because they're a fellow foreigner, I tend to side with somebody because they're right or I tend to argue against them because they're wrong. In this case this clown was wrong, very very wrong. No, I don't think the father is overreacting, I'm actually very proud of the good doctor's father. I love what he's doing, I think it's wonderful. He's teaching an idiot a very valuable lesson.

We don't even know what the circumstances were, they weren't sprawled out across the stairs they were simply sitting on the stairs, they may have just been sitting there for one minute after a long walk on the beach. What on earth is the big deal about that? Who cares? Frankly even if they were sitting on my lounge chair, in an open beach area, I don't think I'd be offended. I might ask them to move but I certainly wouldn't kick a woman. That is incredibly low class stuff. This guy is real gutter trash.

Well I think there are many reasons why this case is getting so much attention, somebody just pointed out some Facebook pages in Switzerland that are getting a lot of attention over this incident. I think probably the one aspect of this that is most Germaine, is the fact that we are guests in Thailand and we are dependent upon the good graces of our hosts. It's up to us to be kind and respectful to them. I find most Thai people to be very kind to me, I think we have an obligation to return that kindness, and just be decent human beings. This clown Urs David sounds like he was quite affluent, he has every reason in the world to be content in life, yet he found a way not only to be miserable, but to try to make other people miserable along with him. I think that's part of the story that people just can't wrap their minds around.

This entire story is absolutely fascinating, this was an idiotic, ignorant, arrogant, incredibly foolish man who was obviously doing quite well, and getting away with his foolishness and his terrible behavior. And then he goes and kicks the wrong woman! And poof, everything goes up in smoke. Now the police are investigating his finances, his businesses, his cars, his lease, his permit to stay here and who knows what else. Talk about digging a hole for yourself, talk about one move that finally fells the toxic bear. This guy's in for a world of hurt and I'm happy about it. I think he deserves everything he gets and so does his spectacularly toxic Thai woman. Good riddens. And I hope the Swiss news picks it up too. By the way, his full name is Urs David Fehr, and his woman is named Khanuengnit. Their names should be out there in the public sphere. Let us shame them to every extent possible. We are guests in this country and we have an obligation to be kind and respectful toward our gracious hosts. That's the least we can do.

Oh I completely agree I would love to see Fauci, the FDA, the CDC, The WHO, Big Pharma and the governments around the world held responsible for the extraordinary amount of damage that they caused. Here alone the damage was well into the tens, perhaps hundreds of billions of dollars to businesses and the tourism industry alike. As far as I'm concerned multiple members of the Prayuth administration should be in prison. But we know that's not going to happen.
