  1. I think it stems from a tremendous lack of self-esteem and self-love, and it morphs into self-loathing, which then manifests itself as criticism of others. A small man will often try to cut off the head of another to make himself appear taller. It is quite sad to watch someone like Trump engage in this kind of juvenile and regressive behavior.
  2. Such an incredibly tiny man, such a horrific sense of entitlement, it's such a shame that people that are blessed with this kind of fortune in life, figure out a way to be miserable human beings and to treat the rest of humanity so poorly. This half man should be locked up, exiled from Thailand or perhaps the local people simply need to take action into their own hands, if the aforementioned cop does not take action, or is not sanctioned. Maybe sometimes sanctions have to be the will of the people.
  3. It is an enormous betrayal of the people, and the billions they have invested in the industry. It makes Thailand appear to be regressive, purile, backwards, fearful, over bearing and horribly misguided. It would appear Sretta has chosen from the absolute bottom of the barrel, and the administration is comprised of some of the dimmest people available, anywhere in the country. He is a dismal failure as PM, to date.
  4. This is the polar opposite of any sort of spiritual or beneficial belief system. It is tribal superstition. I doubt it even has anything to do with Buddhism. Statues do not grant favors. Superstition is to religion what astrology is to astronomy, the mad daughter of a wise mother. These daughters have too long dominated the earth. — Voltaire, 1694-1778, French philosopher & writer With our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition. … We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. We might get away with it for a while, but eventually this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces. — Carl Sagan An extraterrestrial being, newly arrived on Earth - scrutinizing what we mainly present to our children in television, radio, movies, newspapers, magazines, the comics, and many books - might easily conclude that we are intent on teaching them murder, rape, cruelty, superstition, credulity and consumerism. — Carl Sagan One of the greatest gifts science has brought to the world is continuing elimination of the supernatural, and it was a lesson that my father passed on to me, that knowledge liberates mankind from superstition. We can live our lives without the constant fear that we have offended this or that deity who must be placated by incantation or sacrifice, or that we are at the mercy of devils or the Fates. With increasing knowledge, the intellectual darkness that surrounds us is illuminated and we learn more of the beauty and wonder of the natural world. — James Watson
  5. Tarnishing the country's image is such a shameful act. Can you imagine destroying the incredibly wholesome nature of this country, with it's pure as white snow belief system, and the purest morality demonstrated n the entire region? What a true crime that would be. Lock up the tourists.
  6. A very poor conclusion. This is NOT a democracy, where they oust an elected man because he was too progressive. Now that Pheu Thai has cut the treasonous deal with the army, all bets are off. They completely betrayed their base of support, and the nation. The army is the last institution in the world this nation wants anything to do with. Any reputation they may have once had, has gone down the drain with those very long 9 years of ineptitude, malfeasance, corruption and theft. So, where does the nation go from here? It is likely to continue it's backwards spin. Perhaps into near oblivion and even a greater degree of irrelevance.
  7. Say it ain't so, just yesterday the government published another fake poll about consumer confidence on the rise despite declining manufacturing, despite a slump in the housing market, despite a slump in new car sales, despite higher financing costs, higher unemployment and higher homelessness. Yes, confidence is on the rise, yes we all just got off the boat, and we're all buying the nonsense.
  8. That is not really an alternative. There is as much as 3 hours late on many occasions. The sedond aspect is an antiquated rail system with cars that are as sometimes 70 years old, and number three the amount of time involved to travel a relatively short distance is absolutely ridiculous. It is an abomination. Is this Thailand, or is this Gayana?
  9. People have been enjoying sex in the outdoors since the beginning of time, since neanderthal era. There's no issue with that, the issues is with fake puritans trying to make a big deal about it. This kind of stuff is just beyond ridiculous, and needs to be ignored with all of our might. It is very likely that the people who most adamantly complain about public sex, are the biggest sex freaks of them all.
  10. Lies, lies and more lies. Will the lies ever stop? Is it possible that any government official can somehow figure out a way to establish any sort of connection to truth and reality? They're only working up to kilometer 37 at this point. Beyond that there's no work that's has even started yet. How is this link going to be finished all the way to Patchburi, in one year? How long have they been working on this project already? 15 years, and likely another 15 years to go. Stop the lies.
  11. Such unbelievable nonsense, three or four times a week we see posts on here about how dismal the economy is performing, how exports are down, how foreign investment in New factories is down, how the quality of tourism is down, where tourists are not spending as much money. And now we see this fake post about consumer confidence. I don't buy it for a nanosecond, the economy here is in trouble, it's heading toward deeper problems and there are many problems in housing, homelessness, etc. So many other sectors of the economy are still hurt from the Prayuth Decimation. New car sales may be up 3%, but they're up from an low last year, where many car dealers were barely selling a couple of cars a month. Don't buy the nonsense, reject the lies, reject the government fabrications.
  12. It is so bizarre, so hypocritical, so beyond comprehension that somebody would make a big deal about a couple having sex on the beach. It's such a nothing burger, it's so ridiculous, these netizens are getting to the point where they're so weak, they're so confused, they're so lacking in self-esteem, self identity, awareness, and consciousness that they just need to grumble about something. They love being a victim and having something to complain about, and it's beyond ludicrous. These are just unbelievably pathetic people who would crumble if life offered them any major challenge, they need to be ignored at all costs, they mean nothing to us, they are completely irrelevant, and social media outrage is just a sickness that we have to ignore.
  13. He was also the 44th worst president in history, according to 100's of historians, and most people.
  14. I hope he is afraid. And will Swift be remembered in 30 years? I doubt it. The Beatles were absolutely brilliant songwriters. They will still be remembered a hundred years from now.
  15. He did support the bleach theory. That was quite brilliant. “I see the disinfectant that knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? As you see, it gets in the lungs, it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.” “Cases are going up in the U.S. because we are testing far more than any other country. With smaller testing, we would show fewer cases.“ Such words of wisdom from this guy. Such a sage. So presidential. So elegant.
  16. There are many trillions sitting on the sidelines, at this moment in time. It is likely Trump has very little of it. He has alot of debt, he is up to his ears in judgments of his own making, and the values of many of his properties are dropping. It is very possible he won't be able to get a bond, as few would be willing to take that enormous risk, with a known scoundrel and criminal. This is a man who has made a career and a fortune out of weaseling his way out of paying his debts.
  17. When you get a huge marketing machine behind you, it becomes a formulaic production. Enough PR, social media and hype, and the masses are hypnotized into a form of commercial worship. I do not think her phenomenon is due to great talent as a singer, or songwriter. She is no Joni Mitchell. She is a product. And people are buying it.
  18. That is what I don't get. She is not hot. She is not beautiful. She looks fairly ordinary. Is that why people relate to her? Or have the standards in the US dropped that much? Or is "very pretty" now frowned upon by the Uber feminist nazi patrol? It sure seems that way in Hollywood.
  19. As well they should be, he distrust the intelligence agencies, he despises the military, the military despises him, the military leaders despise him, they all know the guys is a goon, they all know he's incapable they all know he's naive, and cowtows to dictators and despots, and they all know he's a threat not only the National Security but he's a danger to the entire planet. Not only should the military and the intelligence community be afraid of them, intelligent people should be afraid of him. He could be the most dangerous man in the world.
  20. All Clinton had to do was say I did have sex with that woman, I've had sex with many women, I am a very powerful man, and women are attracted to powerful men. It's been that way for thousands of years. I admit it, I'm a sex freak, please forgive me. I'm going to try to repent and change my ways. The media would have been off his tail in 24 hours, the people would have rallied behind him, and everything would have been forgotten. It's the pathological lying that got him in trouble, not the sex.
  21. What a waste of a man, as cold as it sounds I suspect that maybe even his mother is not going to miss him.
  22. The joke really needs to put you on a retainer, you are by far his biggest defender in Thailand. I wonder if there's even a 1% chance that you are correct about his innocence?
  23. Well of course it is, everything this man does is a publicity stunt, everything this man does is for show, he's all talk and no action, and he has accomplished absolutely nothing so far as PM. So all we can hope for is a show, that's all he has, there's nothing in his bag of tricks. He is the very definition of an empty suit.
  24. Please your honor these people have a lot of dirt on me, don't let them testify, it's going to make me look bad, it's going to reveal the man that I truly am, and it's going to reveal my guilt, so please your honor I plead with you don't allow them to testify. Do the right thing and show your fealty to me. I deserve it, I am a great man, you should know that I am one of the greatest men to ever live, don't you know that by now? Everybody knows that. I am truly special.
  25. 1. The price is perfectly fair, 300 Baht per hour for a private tuk tuk tour is totally reasonable, so the only one that this YouTuber has the blame is himself for being so spectacularly ignorant to begin with. 2. Why are some Thais so incredibly thin skinned and sensitive when it comes to criticism about their culture or their tourism industry? The nature of social media is that people are going to vent, people are going to say things. They're also going to praise Thailand there's an equal number of podcasts that are praising Thailand day and night. So, people are going to complain about Thailand, what is the big deal? Why do these silly, small minded people get so up in arms about somebody complaining about Thailand? Oh my God, it's going to destroy the tourism industry. Really? Can you imagine being so small-minded that you actually have thoughts like that? It's tragic, it's nothing short of tragic. These people desperately need to figure out a way to get a life.
