  1. While that is true, notice how it is almost always opposition guys, and not army clowns, who are outed? That is the issue here. That is the crux of the extreme level of moral bankruptcy consistently displayed by the Prayuth regime.
  2. Good question. I think it is a good general rule of thumb, to question anything and everything the RTP says and reports. After all, what have they ever done to earn our respect and trust? Ever? Same applies to the media here.
  3. Sugar cane itself, or long bamboo staffs come to mind. They work for monkeys. They just might work for cane farmers.
  4. Men who have bombs in their homes generally do not have much goodwill towards mankind. So, when a bomb explodes and kills them, sympathy is extremely limited. Rather, it ends up purifying the oxygen in the general environment, as it relieves the area of excess toxicity. See ya!
  5. Great news. Alot of egg on the face of the Russian gangster, king vlad. Looks as if everything he thought he might accomplish with this zany invasion, is going belly up. If there is one thing the Ukraine invasion taught us, it is that vlad was not nearly as smart as many of us thought. Like Trump, he is just a very talented criminal. The major difference is vlad has the opportunity to unleash his inner psychopath, and cause alot of terror and mayhem.
  6. Always an opposition candidates behavior being questioned, while the retrograde army guys misbehave on a daily basis. Playing cards. Yeah, such questionable morality. We can't have a leader who plays cards.
  7. Wow. 14 years old. One had to wonder what the circumstances were that led her to this place. Was she kidnapped? Was she a sex slave from Burma? One wonders.
  8. Does anyone on this forum think a request for a red notice will be adhered to, much less enforced? Is the credibility of a government taken into account? Is a regime like the one we have here just ignored and scorned? For instance, when Interpol is aware that Thailand has no real interest in the bringing Thaksin, or the Red bull creep back here for trial, is that taken into account? In this case, it is unlikely they would defy their master Xi. And it is possible these thugs worked for the CCP mafia. Who knows?
  9. Perhaps a nationwide educational program for farmers. Guilt and shame them into changing? You are killing your countrymen and ruining the environment. Do you care one iota?
  10. When the crop burning starts to kill the population, and lowers the quality of life for those of us who don't die, isn't it time to take action? We just don't need the sugar. Shut down this toxic, heinous industry. Lock up the farmers. Sieze their land. Do whatever it takes.
  11. I would guess in Europe the cost of a life is considered of consequence. Not here. And the will of the people likely carries greater weight. Not here. At least not under this useless army regime. Burning is against the law here. Is anything being done to stop the cane farmers? Have you seen the actual burning from cane? The amount of soot and junk released into the already toxic air is astonishing. Yet, it continues. Do nothing Prayuth does nothing about it. He does not care. The health of the masses means nothing to him. My guess is, his every waking moment is spent counting his ever increasing fortune.
  12. If I ever get cancer, I would not even consider doing chemo or radiation. No thanks. I am self insured. If something serious happens, I will try to get it treated out of pocket here. If I can't, time to move on. I have very little fear of death.
  13. We used to be best friends. But, I don't Iike you anymore. You won't pay me back, so therefore I think the best way for me to recover my money, is to kill you. I am very practical. Quite a solution, huh?
  14. 1. Escalate it to management in Bangkok. Forget the dealership for now. Often, once you reach a more senior person, with common sense, reason, intelligence and vision, they will often take things into their own hands and make it right. 2. If this does not work, start a major social media campaign. Slander them to no end. Don't even concern yourself with the dumb and cowardly libel laws. Do what you need to do. It will get their attention. Shame and humiliation is often a powerful tool here.
  15. These clowns have presided over a dramatic drop in quality of life, and the well being of the average Thai. These guys are toxic, corrosive, corrupt, ineffective, incompetent, untrustworthy, very bad for the nation, and virtually assure a rotten future for the nation, a drop to 75th place in GDP, and increasing irrelevance. They have already turned Thailand from the tiger of SE Asia, to a sorry, rabid, whiny, anemic alley cat.
  16. This does seem to be an accurate assessment. Considering the geopolitical environment, I cannot see another function for the highly toxic and utterly useless Thai army.
  17. And if that is not possible the people of Thailand need to stage their own coup.
  18. Yes. And in 8 years of speaking to many Thais, from all walks of life, I can only recall a single person who was supportive of them. Prayuth, and Prawit are some of the most despised and least respected men in Thailand. Utter misanthropes.
  19. Even if Shinawatra wins, which looks likely, until the Thai people can figure out a way to get rid of those 250 extremely toxic, corrupt and heinous, army appointed senators, it is doubtful the opposition would be able to form a government. If the army gets voted out, it will be a ridiculous scenario for these clowns to remain in power. Something drastic needs to be done to solve this. The Thai army is useless, does nothing for the people and seems to serve no function other than to devour enormous resources and consume oxygen.
  20. Let us hope and pray they never get the cashless society they seem to so desperately want. Big brother in action.
  21. 1. Is immigration doing a good enough job of screening Chinese criminals and gang members? 2. Perhaps the immigration clowns could be focusing on serious criminals, rather than senior citizens who are over staying their visas, and hassling legitimate couples over marriage visas. 3. Is this a state sponsored multi national campaign sponsored by the extremely heinous CCP? 4. Do the Thai authorities have the will to arrest and convict Chinese criminals? 5. If not, what else can be done to stop these fools?
  22. Ask yourself one thing. Is my life already complicated enough, without a serious bike accident? Darwin insisted that some species and some members of those species were more fit for survival than others. It would appear the roads here, and especially motorbike riders, are a perfect example of his theories in action. It takes certain qualities to survive on the roads here. Patience, being very conscious of your surroundings, driving defensively, avoiding excessive speed, especially in town, following basic traffic rules and laws and avoiding being overly stupid, at all times. Many Thais are extremely casual about driving, and seem to have little understanding of the dangers involved, and the need to be 100% focused, at all times. Especially on a motorbike.
  23. Do something about the horrendous air quality, save lives and lungs and they you can drone on and on about the beauty of the north. Until then, keep it muted.
  24. Yes the lazy, lethargic, ineffective, indifferent, pathetic, so called leaders do nothing. They are not stopping the farmers from burning crops, even though the law was passed. They likely continue to accept massive payoffs from the sugar industry. Thailand continues to be one of the few countries continuing to promote filthy diesel vehicles. So much could be done. Wildfires and pollution from neighboring countries are an issue. But, it is only part of the problem. The lack of leadership is a huge problem.
  25. Exercise extreme caution when driving an electric bike. Since they make little noise, people often cannot hear you coming. And drivers of these bikes often underestimate the speed and don't wear a good helmet which is beyond foolish. I know a few people who have suffered serious injuries while driving them. Treat them as a real motor vehicle, and drive with great care.
