Well, not to offer them excuses, but if I were born and living in Russia, I would likely be an alcoholic, or heroine user. Anything to dull the pain. And I say that as a Russian (actually Ukrainian) descendent. Fortunately 3 generations removed. As my great grandmother used to talk me, in answer to my questions, we are not teaching you anything about the old country, because it was the worst place on earth. We were thrilled to have been able to escape to America.

This is one instance, where I think the police not only behaved properly, but were downright graceful in the way they handled this goon. I do not think the cop was ever in danger, and it appeared that they knew they had the creep under control. Kudos to them. An over reaction, or an American style "police commando response" would have gotten alot of bad press.

That is not the issue. I think what has happened is that both the campaiging, and the office itself has become so toxic, and so degrading, between the corporations who essentially control the government now, their lobbyists, the horrendous senate and congress, the media, and social media, that anyone of real character has no interest in engaging in the circus. So, you end up with lightweights like Trump and DeSantis, due to their megalomania. The others? The good ones? Zero interest in dragging themselves or their family through the mud and slime.

It is reasonable for Pita to speak truth, and he should avoid joining the creeps. His party defined progress and change. Joining the coalition is the opposite of that.

In Cambodia, they disqualify the candidates before the elections, or have them threatened or exiled. Look at the history of Sam Rainsy. Hun Sen is a genocidal former Pol Pot leader who has opponents and critics murdered, (check out thr story of Chea steals land and has amassed billions of dollars. The Thai politicians are corrupt and bad. But, Sen redefines the concept of a strongman dictator. And the West supports him.

Life is way, way too short to ever make a big deal over 10 baht. Ever. I have known wealthy men who quibble, and make a big stink over 10 or 20 baht on a sizable restaurant bill. That is the epitome of a lack of class. Let it go. Get on living your life.

It is fairly well known that when you engage in a relationship with a satanist, it does not end well. What was she thinking? Was she thinking? Was she also a devil worshiper? So many questions. It boggles the mind.

There is no question he is unqualified to run. But, he was unqualified to run the 1st time too. And he became president. Only in America. He was likely the 44th worst in history. Will his current legal woes stop him? Will the republican party step in? I doubt it. They seem scared, and cowed by him and his fanatical devotees. It seems no matter what he says, no matter what he is charged with, no matter what he does, he is above the law in the eyes of his followers. What can one say? I hope they are somehow able to get him convicted. He needs to be banished into the wilderness.

1. The anti corruption committee is not a serious organization. They rarely ever get convictions resulting in prison time. So, corruption is NOT being taken seriously under this current administration. 2. Will these creeps actually serve time in prison? That remains to be seen.
