Thailand? Isn't that a country in SE Asia that used to popular.

More like will Thailand bounce back after Covid, war in Ukraine, and possible war in Taiwan. You could not ask for a more perfect storm for tourism disaster in Thailand.

Yeah, I live in one of the richest nation in the world and the nuts not getting vaccinated are many. You can basically go into a grocery store and get a free vaccination. I have 0 sympathy for the people getting sick here that are here in the US.. Regardless, it is back to normal here. If the anti vaccination people want to get sick it's there decision. Regardless it is back to normal here. Are you one of the nut jobs not getting vaccinated? Just curious!

It's back to normal here. I went for my yearly checkup, and I asked my doctor about it last week. She said it was the anti vaccine people that were getting sick. I live in a city of over 1 million with several million around me, and it is basically back to normal. I see no difference now than before it started. I have not been to the post office or airport for a while, but some one said masks were still required there.

Something is out of wack somewhere in Thailand, in the US where I am now it is back to normal 100%.

Won't happen for a while. The few that have the money are running Thailand not the people. And the private sector is not organized. They have no say in the matter.

I just read the submarines they are buying do not come with engines.. lol Chinese subs designed around german power plants. And Germany has put a halt to that.

At this point it is pretty obvious this is how the country is going to be run for the foreseeable future. After this scam runs it's course there will be another one to take it's place.

Dumbest post I have read in a while. I flew into South America on a proof of being vaccinated (nothing else). Virus was out of control there. It has since gone down like a rock. It spiked after Christmas now back down. Also coming back to the US after 6 months traveling in SA and Mexico all I had to do was get a test 24 hours before I left. Cost me 24 dollars at a Mexican clinic in Merida. I was in line for 10 minutes paid 24 bucks then had my results e-mailed to me. Thailand is kinda the joke of any serious traveler that has the funds to travel... haha One more thing, there were no restrictions what so ever, partying all night and still the virus dropped like a rock.

RIP Thai tourism. It was fun. Thanks for the memories.

These guys missed their calling, they would of made first class car salesmen . You sit down at a table and they say let me ask the manager, every time they come back to the table it is a different twist on the same con.. haha

Never did understand the housing market in Thailand. I found a few places I tried to buy as bank repos years ago. And they would not budge on price and the places were literally falling down. Trying to get premium prices for a house that had been vacant for years..
