  1. I keep 2 types about. The high grade stuff, currently smoking Gorilla Glue and Wedding Cake I get for 300 a gram, and they are small popcorn buds and nicely manicured. Then I have nice Lao weed that is compressed but all buds. 35 baht a gram for that. Two different well valued sources I have used over the last 20 years. Still cant believe its legal now.
  2. Where please? I asked you in a previous post and you did not answer. Size and amenities as well. Where on the dark side?
  3. This is the issue. Yes she is. She works in management for Apple and must be in daily contact all the while downloading and exchanging information. She gets 3 weeks holiday but only because she works while here. In fact she often goes through that and has to buy more data. For myself the package you propose would be fine, but there are travelers who use one heck of a lot of data, and dont want to be running around looking for somewhere with wifi.
  4. She is a tourist now when she visits. She needs the data plan and it fits her well. Neither she or I are a cheap Charlie. Please let me know where you can get 100mbps for 250 baht. Thanks. The OP said a lot of data was needed over phone calls hence my post.
  5. I get this one for my daughter when she visits. Tons of data as she is semi working while she is here. https://www.ais.th/travellersim/
  6. Unless they are mint condition they are worth what they are worth.
  7. I had to relocate there during the floods. I saw no houses for that price. There were damn good deals though, 2.5 million for a 3 bed 2 bath place on 90 wah with a small pool. Where in the Pattaya area did you see houses for 800,000? You say villages, and what size house and land?
  8. If you were able to get it before legalization 500 baht is high. I was getting it for 250-350 per g before and its the same and even less if you want the popcorn buds. There is no Thai stick, again if you are lucky you can get some nice Lao weed, but it has been compressed. That is generally 3000 to as you say 5000 for 100 gram blocks.
  9. But, 1 you did not take the time to check the name of the booth. 2 there were no rates displayed yet you still changed money. I know by posting this you feel better, but at the same time it was you who made the mistake. Just be happy it was a small exchange and you lost little to nothing in the grand scheme of things. VASU and Superrich are who you want.
  10. Nah lived here for 30+ years its home. Somehow 30+ years ago people managed to get here and have a good time without the internet. Dont defend those who dont know diddly and life would be better for all. But do have a good one.
  11. Give me a break. Dont just post to bitch. If you have half a brain you can easily avoid all the complaints you are bring up. With regard to the lobster, what a bunch of hearsay BS. You have a head on top of your shoulders use it.
  12. I think you are overthinking this. Use re entry permits until you return in January. Then get an agent to renew your visa with another multiple entry re entry permit. This can be done in one day with ad a good agent. It would then be over for one more year. Makes everything easy.
  13. I realize that. I have my own daughter coming home from the USA in September. Due to Covid she has not been home in 4 years and her passport has expired. She can enter on an expired passport but it involves going through a lot of BS on arrival. So she will enter on her US passport. But first stop off the plane will be the Thai passport office on Changwattana.
  14. So when they returned they could only be on a visa entry of some sort?
  15. What a bunch of malarkey. You just made that up. Also the plants they are giving away are hemp. So dont fret, nobody can get high on them.
  16. Interesting so was I. 12 years in my youth. For me its a different heat here but I found Saudi dry and here much more humid. The wife is from Kanchanaburi and we go often. But even with land there I would not want to live there. March through to June is simply to hot. Simply my opinion, hoping Simon wont move again.
  17. ^ Of course you dont Simon. You seem to know most everything. Just be prepared as it is the hottest place in Thailand.
  18. Google Super Rich and go exchange. One on Silom rd. The main branch is opposite the WTC at Rajprasong. You can use the one in the airport but the rates are not quite as good.
  19. Did you go anywhere but the north of the island? So now you are in amphur Muang and you are liking it. That is good. Wait until the hot season. ????
  20. Indoors you will still be wearing a mask for sure. In crowded areas I would very much suggest it as well. All public transportation in Thailand is crowded. Right or wrong most Thai's have become addicted to masks.
  21. Enough you simply dont understand it. The farmers are not taxed leave it at that.
