  1. thanks for the invite whenn is it. can i come in discise as spider man so nobody know i am Big C. actually we should all have a mask on to hide our identities. maybe a mask of our avator. emmmmmm

You can come as spiderman if you like Big C or as yourself you don't even have to come as Big C. Up to you how you introduce yourself but you'll have to log in to confirm your membership is all.

I did think about having everyone disguised as their avatars but sadly as sbk isn't attending maybe we should save that for the next party... :)

  2. yeh right , i can just picture tom huddlestone, holding aloft the trophy on the 11th july :)

Good point imola he should add Jenas to the squad and also half the scammers team. That should prevent any nasty surprises! :D

  3. The squad has been announced:

Goalkeepers: Joe Hart, David James, Robert Green.

Defenders: Leighton Baines, Jamie Carragher, Ashley Cole, Michael Dawson, Rio Ferdinand, Glen Johnson, Ledley King, John Terry, Matthew Upson, Stephen Warnock.

Midfielders: Gareth Barry, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Tom Huddlestone, Adam Johnson, Frank Lampard, Aaron Lennon, James Milner, Scott Parker, Theo Walcott, Shaun Wright-Phillips.

Forwards: Darren Bent, Peter Crouch, Jermain Defoe, Emile Heskey, Wayne Rooney.

Clearly Capello is more set in his attacking choices than at the back. It's a great squad when you think about it.

really? i see lots of injured and out of form players. rooney, lampard and ashley cole have had excellent seasons, everyone else, meh.

really, you obviously didnt pay a blind bit of notice to scott parker this season, he more or less saved west ham this season, despite playing amongst baffoons ,and zolas tactics, fellla deserves a medal for his commitment,

if he were at a more fashionable club, performing as he does, cappello would play him without hesitation

I see six of our players made the squad though imola. What a wise manager Capello is turning out to be. :)

  4. Back in March the Bikini Bar in Lamai had a happy hour from 4-7 when I was there in March. Think Chang was 40 baht and Heineken/San Mig 60 baht. Nice chill out atmosphere with reggae and u can watch the beach volleyball game. Good 99 baht brekkie if you arrive before 2PM.

Rich Resort, a short walk from Bikini had a free buffet from 4 to 4:30 on Fridays.

    Bikini Bar....Beach Volleyball....Happy Hour.... :D

:) Bikini Bar.... Beach Ladyboyball..... 60 Baht Saeng Som sodas :D

Best start the ball rolling early on the Sangsom then u won't notice the difference! :D

  5. He has....... :D ...

everyone (not me) are waiting for the 2 Multi Millionaire playboys Cleggi and Cammi to make up their Bliddy minds.....

I want this ..NO cant have ...well how about this ...NO way ...surely we can agree to...NO you must be joking...

Jesu M & J...what a carry on .....right pairs of ..Divs and Knicks.... :)

They love the attention and the free ride! Long may it continue for some of the politicians....its pathetic to watch as the cost to taxpayers continues to spiral upwards.

  6. Correct me if i'm wrong, but, a so called Lib/Lab pact STILL wont result in a majority government(?)

    Needed: 326

    Labour: 258

    Lib Dem: 57

    Total: 315

Even adding the seats of the major "Mickey Mouse" parties such as SNP and Plaid Cymru the total is still short by 2

Either a courtship with "A N Other" parties or a minority government isnt very good news for the Pound i wouldnt think

    Penkoprod

    Ulster Unionists.

  7. Gordon Brown announced he will stand down by Oct but could be before then. The other deal Labour have thrown into the arena is a "whipped" deal on AV voting and a full referendum on PR. The tories would have to go some to top that, not sure they can.

PS. CM, you must be gnawing at the bit by now ? :D:D

If the Labour deal is to happen then Brown must go immediately. Hence the long faces tonight hiding even longer knives... :)

  8. Whoa..I don't know what I would do without 18th century englishmen to guide the way. Simply profound...

The greatest democratic system in the world. Watch and learn everyone. :D

The time machine is remarkable. Show us the way..be sure to provide proofs with your scientific devices...

This is the true meaning of a hung parliament. Everyone chokes. :)

  9. I agree it still hangs in the balance. But I really thought the Tories would strike a deal....very surprising imo

If Labour/Lib Dems form a government it seems more stable to me....the Tories have barely a cohesive plan anyway.

Mind you nor do the others! :)

No obvious PM? No obvious policy from anyone! :D

  10. It seems likely now there will be a new Labour leader supported by the Lib Dems. What a turn up that is. I guess the proportional representation issue won the day in the end.

So what will this do for the £/Baht I wonder....!

That was always going to be the more likely outcome, if not necessarily the fairest.

It surprised me that a clear majority wasn't won by the Tories but it seems fair to have electoral reform now the third party has a quarter of the vote. :)

  11. Not much use to the OP as he probably doesnt know the area, however I scoffed 2 of these down this afternoon.

Tawana square, right next to The Mall Bang Kapi, for those that know the area, if you enter the market from the car park of The Mall, cross at the zebra crossing beside the car park exit, turn right and walk about 20 or 30 yards, the kebab shop is on your right hand side, cant miss it, has a big picture of a kebab and the little Turkish guy will be stood beside the kebab stand.

    49 baht, a bargain.

Sorry bit confused is that turn right out of the mall past happyland and further on the right??

Sorry Smokie, didnt explain it properly.

Enter The Mall by the front enterance, walk right to the back door exit, turn right and keep walking, the car park is now on your left hand side.

You will now come to the side or back enterance to Tawana square, right at the zebra crossing is the car park exit, the one where you hand back your ticket.

Walk straight across the road, and enter the market, then head off to the right hand side, by this time your sense of smell should be picking up the smell of the meat being grilled.

You are talking if you come out of The Mall at the main exit, I am talking about the exit from the car park, which is about 100 yards back, in the direction of the khlong.

Have also seen others ask the question about those hookah, hubbly bubbly pipes, well i saw at least 3 or 4 stalls in the exact same area I just mentioned selling them, make sure to get the glass and not the acrylic ones.

Thanks rgs I'll check it out next trip to Bangkok. I love some sheesha! :)

  14. Rooney limping off with what looks like a groin injury....maybe a few weeks out....England might as well stay at home if he's not fit. :)

    I'm sure he'll be ok.

Here's my rushed 30. It's not at all easy to do and I hope I have not made an awful error:

    Green, James, Hart, Robinson.

Neville, Johnson, Carragher, King, Terry, Ferdinand, Warnock, A.Cole

Lampard, Gerrard, Carrick, Barry, Downing, Hargreaves, J.Cole, Johnson, Lennon, SWP, Milner.

Rooney, Defoe, Heskey, Walcott, Zamora, Bent, Crouch.

As I understand it Capello is not actually beholden to this 30, in that he wouldn't need to replace anyone in the final 23 (is it) with someone who was in the 30. Is that right?

For me the issue is about the attack.

You have to really give the benefit of doubt for some selections,eg, Heskey, J.Cole. But I put them in as they are proven class, J.Cole in particular is one of our few flair players.

Not bad but I'd give Dawson a run instead of Carragher. If Capello feels he's not right then he can bring in the more proven player later imo. :D

  15. Its a bizarre question. Some like it some don't. Some like big feet some don't or why do some of us have a moustache and others don't. Laziness or we just like it that way.

Should have posted this as a poll in the Ladies forum.....then we can all wander down the shops and choose our favourite syrup! :)
