Just because a doctor has done the surgery hundreds of time, doesn't mean that it has been done well. Some doctors don't realize that they have been doing bad work. I see some doctors using before and after pictures that are plain embarrassing. They don't realize that they are a bad surgeon.

Don't assume just because the clinic has a good reputation that the doctors is good. Ask plenty of specifics. GO TO MORE THAN ONE CLINIC FOR AN EVALUATION! Don't trust the first doctor you meet.

I agree, that a person can be hard worker and succesfull and in the same time make a fortune.

This thread in a way disapoints me.  One of the reasons I love Thailand so much, is when I go there, I get away from the office. I get away from the business I am in...  the medical business. Which I think is one of the most cut throat businesses out there.  Any how, I go to Thailand, I walk around in my shorts and T-shirt, and don't give a flying flip about my "status," because I know in the end....  I have got money in the bank, and all is 'OK."  So come on guys, love a little.  Ajarn, has probably gone a lot further in Thailand, than he could of in his own home country.  (No offense intended there Arjarn) Ajarn has taken his skills that have a limited earning potential, and ran with it. Nothing wrong with that, it only shows intellegence to me.

For example, I have a friend in Thailand teaching English, earning around 40K baht  a month. Which I hear tell is 4 times your avg Thai with a bachelors degree.  Now my friend has a Masters degree in Eng.  Folks, I promise you, he could not earn 4 times your avg. American with a M.S. in Englsih in the states.  He lives a good life, with a great wife and 2 beautiful children in Thailand....  In my book, he is a millionaire.

Just last night I was with my wife only @ the SEAFOOD MARKET RESTAURANT in Bangkok and the bill (including 1 bottle of australian cheap vine) was 9000 baht!

In Thailand you're alone, and being alone has a price both in terms of more expenses and lonely life. If you come to Thailand come with enough money to live much much better than in Europe, otherwise stay home and come here 2-3 weeks/year just to avoid your condoms to expire .....

depends on how many nights you're booking the hotel, if is just 1-2 nights they will probably charge you half day.

Now is low season and Hotels are very happy to give you a candy if you decide to stay 8-10 nights.

No buses during night time, the first one should be around 5.30 am

Taxi to Pattaya should be the best way and the fastest way since there is no traffic in the night.
