  1. After having lived in Isaan for 22 years, 2 years as a single man and 20 years married to an Isaan lady, "naive" is not a word I would associate with myself in regards to life in Isaan.
  2. Rampton and Broadmoor are all about treatment and less about punishment. They have segregation areas where they keep like-minded people. As an example, at Broadmoor it was always made sure that Peter Sutcliffe would never come into contact with Ronnie Kray and his cronies, while at the time having access to gardens, TV rooms, dining rooms, etc. This means inmates are able to access all amenities and facilities at anytime. There is no 23 hour lock up in a single cell. No exercising or other activities alone. It's all about being part of groups for rehabilitation purposes. Much more flexible living. Exceptions for a few extremely violent patients who continue their violence once there In a prison things are very different. Prisoners can ask to be put in solitary confinement for their own safety. That will entail 23 hours lock up with 1 hour special NONCE exercise per day. If not requested, all prisoners eat, wash, exercise and get locked down at the same time. With the exception of those prisons with different category wings. The differences between a secure hospital and prison are huge. Hence, many times when someone knows they are going to get a heavy sentence, the try their luck down the mental health route. Neither the convicted nurse nor her defence team have requested and mental health tests, so she will end up in a prison. I didn't suggest contracting out anything. She will naturally be a target as a baby killer. She deserves to feel helpless, just as those babies she killed were.
  3. That would be an easy sentence. Put her on the A wing of a women's prison and let her live her life in fear.
  4. Wow. You've met ONE girl from Isaan and now you are qualified to comment on all Isaan girls. Amazing.
  5. Nothing to be jealous about. Retirement extensions are far easier to execute. Doesn't make me jealous of those that have them.
  6. You don't need to keep your 800k in the bank all year. In your first post you said 200k for marriage. I corrected you. It's 400k. Still nothing to be jealous about.
  7. 400k. Are you really jealous of someone based on visa qualification? Shallow to say the least.
  8. Your wife is wrong. She also discriminates. She also seems to listen to others who discriminate.. She also talks bo%$#kS.
  9. Like I said, your personal experiences have made you bitter. Marrying a bar girl was likely not the best idea. I didn't marry a bar girl. Maybe that's the difference.
  10. I would have thought anyone who attacks another should be condemned, regardless of nationality.
  11. It appears your own, personal, experiences have made you bitter. If that is seriously how you feel, it probably is time to leave. However, don't leave whilst thinking every expats has experienced the same.
  12. For the very last time, I have not made any claims, statements or assumptions. It was an open comment. If you disagree with it, that's fine. If you believe it's a different figure, please offer that figure. No link needed. Just make a suggestion. Just like normal people do during discussions
  13. Why always try to make more of something? I assumed nothing. It was a figure I've already said I'm not sure of. You have shown the percentage of visits to the internet Facebook gets. As I previously mentioned, I was thinking of content, as that is what the poster I quoted was talking about. If you think my figure is wrong, you should prove it. Like I said, it would be interesting to know the exact figures regarding Facebook's share of internet content.
  14. I'm not arguing. I made a comment. Within that comment I said I was not sure of the figures. No link needed as it was an open suggestion. If you have a link to the exact figures please show. It will be interesting to see the exact figures.
  15. Would you care to elaborate? If not, your comment is inane.
  16. Any other platforms you can think of where they've admitted it happens? I don't know the exact figures but I'd be surprised if Facebook accounted for even 0.1% of the internet.
  17. Thanks. Plenty of that going on here. It's a shame people can't just agree to disagree. Instead they have to make comments about intelligence and education.
  18. Why not tar every Thai with the same brush? Oh. I see you have. Of course, we should also remember violence is unique to Thailand.
  19. They " have tiny little lives" because they don't have TV or smart phones? I would say it was the other was around. Anyone who relies on TV or smart phones for entertainment has issues in life.
  20. It was clear and you did engage. You turned it into something more that it was. Take a leaf out of your own book.
