What do you think happens to illegal immigrants who get caught in UK?

Do you have proof that these men are illegals? Have you asked them? I'd like to here your reasoning.

They are illegal immigrants. Most get deported. Those that claim asylum stay until their cases are heard. They don't cause unemployment, low salaries or housing issues, the subject of the comment I replied to.

None of which happens. Take a look at what migrants need by way of qualifications, experience and salary to get a visa. I wouldn't call the salary requirements "cheap labour". I wouldn't call them low or unskilled labour either. Immigrants rent already empty properties. No one us being made homeless. When you say "looking after old people", I guess you mean working in health and social care. You are so wide of the mark if you believe looking after old people is all that is all about. However, a large percentage of migrants do work in health and social care. Without whom, many hospitals, care homes, supported living locations, domiciliary care locations and residential care locations would be woefully understaffed.

For secondary treatment, I believe that is the case. It's not complicated. Someone is not likely to get up and leave if they need more treatment. I don't recall mentioning resetling. It also depends on time spent away.

It's going up in increments. Those already in UK are grandfathered at the £18600. That could change though, with a change of government coming up.

Life in UK test is taken at ILR stage. That's one before citizenship. The salary requirements are under £30k. Other than those points, I totally agree.

You seem to be confused. 1.2 million refers to legal migration. Legal migrants can't claim benefits. Legal migrants, unless on a Teir 2 visa and working in Healthcare, pay £1065 a year to the NHS as a requirement for their visa. That's on top of tax and NI. Therefore, they are all productive. They are earning, spending and not costing the government a penny.
