  1. Sounds like that famous football quite " I like to get my retaliation in first"
  2. Hotels but only in name. It's a form of accommodation. That is all. It's not as if they are laying on their bed, flicking TV channels and calling room service. There are other forms of accommodation ready but protesters, human rights activists and court proceedings hold things up.
  3. Whatever. Those I've met with Pink ID cards, used to teach some in BanPhong, Ratchaburi, told me they can stay and work permenantly. Most of them were stateless refugees from Burma. Anyway, asylum of sorts. Not sent back.
  4. There are many non Thais from neighboring countries who now live and work in Thailand, and can do so permenantly, with pink Thai ID cards because they are either stateless or are discriminated against in their country of birth. I would say that's a similar system to asylum. So, in answer to your question. Yes.
  5. You clearly have not been keeping up with the conversation. As an aside. A migrant arrives on a blow up boat. Their asylum application is processed and approved. They are issued an NI number. They get a job, work, pay NI and tax. They work in healthcare, in a job many Brits think is below them. Does " not on a blow up boat" still apply?
  6. You have a printer that doesn't print colour? Who is it made by, Fred Flintstone Printers. Inc?
  7. Obviously low level crime. Had you been s murder suspect, they would have found out where you were/are.
  8. He does pay tax. Tax payers do not pay him. The Crown Estate gives more than it takes. That's what it has to do with taxes. Your political leanings are blinding you from the truth.
  9. But it's employment based. It's being paid for. The figures show ethnic origin. Not nationality. Many will be British citizens.
  10. I believe the conversation is regarding immigration/visa/extension rules.
  11. I don't and I'm not hijacking the thread. I'm having conversations with others who engage. Andrew was never "nearly king". Prior to William being born, had the queen died and Charles (never would have done) ummed and arred about being King and for a time erred on the side of NO, it could be said Andrew nearly became king. However, as we know, neither of those happened. Hence, Andrew was never even close to being King.
  12. No need for sarky remarks or pedantry. You agree with me. Great. Time to move on.
  13. Isn't it obvious? Here's a couple; immigration cannot arrest you or charge you for speeding, assult, murder........ Police cannot deport you, issue a fine for overstay or not doing a 90 day report. The government departments also differ.
