Unfortunately I have a NON-Immigrant O based on family so I can't help you.

Most Immigration officers will speak more or less English so language should not be the problem, the correct papers with the correct dates and stamps are the real problem!

If you work for a decent company, they should do all the paperwork for you, including your wife.

I had several work permits, once a year I went to BOI with our HR staff and as they did all the paperwork for me, I only had to 'show my face' and sign all the papers.

For the 90 days day's I signed some document so that HR could do the 90 days on my behalf.

In my opinion it should not be on your plate....

Time to open another museum!

Labor Day is a Thai government holiday and immigration will be closed this year on Labor day May1st as it is every year.

Again, if he would have a gmail profile that would say "7 years old" it would be simple (in my opinion) to ban such commercials.

Installed AdBlocker so now it's gone as well bud still think that an profile with his age would be a better solution.

One of the things I learned here is that you NEVER interfere when Thais are fighting!

If you interfere either one or maybe both will turn against you and if one has a gun, maybe you are the one that will be shot or even killed....

So just walk away - NOT your problem, let the Thais sort it out themselves......

My son is now 7 years old, uses Google to 'study', can setup VPN connections with Hamachi so he can play Minecraft with his friends, looks Youtube, plays online games etc. etc.

When I look over his shoulder when he looks Youtube and plays games he will see commercials for Viagra, lubricants and sometime 'sexy videos' and IS videos BUT when I wanted to create a Gmail account (so I hope these commercials and Youtube items are blocked) he has to wait another 5 more years....

Now I have created a Gmail account with a wrong year of birth but of course that will NOT solve the problem but at least he can use Youtube and watch and save his favorite channels.

To go back to my question, why is the minimum age 13 years? 

I remember seeing Russian girls in micro-bikini at the Immigration Office in Jomtien, surprised that they were send away and they had no idea why!

Russians had to explain it Russian and they still did get it....

If you are arrested, go to jail or get deported, what will happen to your house and all your belongings?

Does anybody have any experience with this exam, what can I expect, difficult ?

The last exam I did was for Windows MCSE NT4 .........

Running your Pi / Arduino from a battery pack is not a good idea in my opinion, simply because the battery pack is not made for that - it works yes, but it will kill your battery pack!

Mount the SD card is a solution but not in my case as I run a database on the SD card, I know also not a good idea :-)

I just called PayPal in Singapore and explained to them the whole story.

Keep in mind we only talk about 5 transfer done in two weeks time in 2014!

At my house I have several Raspberry Pi's and one Arduino they work fine until 220V stops working....

The Arduino will work again when the 220V comes back but most of the time the SD card of the Raspberry Pi is corrupted and I need to reformat them again.

Yes, I can install a small UPS with every Raspberry Pi and Arduino but to have a UPS with all CPU's will be expensive and overdone...

If possible it needs to work for a few hours as that long it can take - especially now during the raining season - before the power comes back

Anybody in Thailand had the same problem before, solved it and would like to share it with me?

Look for some help with my Paypal issue.

At the moment I help a small shelter in Chonburi with their Paypal problem.

It was setup 2 years ago in Paypal under the shelters name under 'Business" in Paypal by somebody who left so why it was done like this I don't know.

There is about THB 10.000 in this Paypal account (donations from people worldwide) and we want to transfer that to the bank account of the owner of the shelter.

Paypal wants documents that the owner is the legal 'owner' of the shelter but as they are not a 'legal' charity we do not have papers....

My solution to this problem:

- give a refund to all people who made a donations - still possible to donations from 2014???

- close the Paypal account, can I do that as I am not the owner, nor do we have any papers that we are a charity?

- setup Paypal account as private person to accept donations again, to use our old data, we need to close the old Paypal account first, correct? Can I use then the same data again (e-mail address, mobile number =, address) to open a personal account in Paypal?

Is this the correct way or are there any other solutions to transfer the money to the owner - we really need the money at the moment!

Any comments to solve this problem are highly appreciated.

Already tried to contact Paypal but the only reply is a long list with URL to check if I can solve my problem with one of these URL's
