  1. At the moment I have an Extension of stay based on "take care family" (Non-Immigrant O visa first) as I have a thai girlfriend and a son of 7 years old.

They offered me a new job and according to my new employer I need to leave the country first to get a new Non-Immigrant B visa first but 3 years ago I was in the same position (Extension of stay) and then within one day I got a work permit, didn't have to go to an Embassy first to get a NON-Immigrant-B visa first.

As I do not want to argue with my new employer, who is right - have things changed that I am not aware of?

    Thanks for your comments.

  2. I would not recommend that as YOU are responsible for all 'postings' that people in the noodle shop make on the internet.

If they write something bad about the monarchy, Police will come to see you as it was your ip-number!

    Just my 2 satang...

  3. >> I told him i have an apartment and all my belongings

A tourist does NOT have an apartment so wrong answer coffee1.gif

    >> all visa whether it be marriage, business, education, tourist are all a hassle

Once you have your paperwork done properly - yes it is a pain in the ass - all problems are over and beside the 90 days reporting, you can stay in Thailand for one year without leaving the country (only 90 days reporting at Immigration)

  4. What I understand is that basically all students will pass ANY test, nobody will ever fail in Thailand!

Please correct me if I am wrong.

You are wrong, so I correct you as requested. I have given my share of F's. But then, I teach at universities and don't know what is happening at primary and secondary schools. But your generalisation still remains wrong.

Thanks for the update, so basically students at your University will fail if they don't pass the exams?

  5. I think you can 'buy that online', card & pin numbers - the only thing you need to do is 'burn' the card and go to an ATM.

If you are clever you ask OTHER people do do that for you and promise them a 10/15% fee for all money they withdraw - this guy is probably still learning how to do it, it's not clever to withdraw the money yourself as we all can see coffee1.gifcoffee1.gif
