Gordon Ramsay’s group set to open 14 restaurants in Thailand
Okey dokey, have a nice day. You are denying what you wrote and are still trying to twist it. Don't you see that what I commented originally made sense in response to what you had written? Then later you added more info and changed the meaning completely when you realised you had made a mistake, but you still deny the original comment and try to attack for some weird reason. Very childish. Very weird. Can't be bothered any more.

Yes, creamy sauces are common. Not my cup of tea, but a creamy mushroom sauce is fine. RichardSmith already pointed it out but you clearly said you cook a steak in salt, pepper, butter and cream. You are now talking about cream sauces which are totally different - you don't cook the steak in cream. Anyway, you changed and u-turned. Not interested anymore. Carry on.

You said "cook with salt, butter and cream". What you posted is a herb and cream sauce, totally different, and - I must say - pretty disgusting looking. If I have a good cut of beef the last thing I want to do is drown it in some nasty cream sauce. But up to you. Do you also like a steak with BBQ sauce? Seems like you don't know how to cut a cook piece of steak to appreciate it for what it is.

And you cook a steak in it?? Steak: reddy brown thing sold in shops, usually cooked with salt, pepper, garlic, thyme or rosemary. Never heard of anyone - home cook or restaurant chef - cooking a steak in cream.

Sorry, any list that has Filipino food above Thai, Malaysian, British, Lebanese, Pakistani, and Belgian food has zero credibility. Any list that has Filipino food in anythign but last place has no credibility. But seriously, it is above Thai??

British teeth are no better or worse than anywhere really, but we don't do cosmetic dentistry generally - we get stuff fixed when it needs to be. However Americans tend to go for super white, straight, Hollywood teeth and we don't so anything more normal gets categorised as "bad teeth". I used to get metal fillings as a kid - not white fillings. Also we started putting flouride in our domestic water supply decades after the US and I think a lot of the stigma comes from those years when our teeth probably were significantly worse. But not these days.

Are you thinking of buying a BYD EV?
Incredible news, thanks. And how much did you pay for these items? Were they cheap by any chance? China makes things for price points: cheap crap on Lazada is cheap crap and people buy it, it works for a while then doesn't. China also makes iPhones, Teslas, luxury fashion, top quality, but you pay for it. Nothing to do with China, just that cheap crap is cheap crap. This doesn't even make any sense. And people have already shown EVs are perfectly safe in water........and less likely to get stranded than an ICE. Is it a good idea to do it repeatedly? Of course not.

Immigration coming to home to confirm I live here.
So they came, they did their job then left, and they didn't ask for money. (But you think no means yes......erm, ok.) And your human rights have been abused? "Abuse of power", "how do they get away with treating people this?". You are hilarious.

No, that's business class. And why shouldn't he? He should fly all the way to NY for a global conference in economy?

Immigration coming to home to confirm I live here.
They grilled her for 30 minutes? Really? About what? I have never had a visit in nearly 29 years of being here, but when I do hear it is always a box ticking exercise and they are polite and cordial. So, why did they "grill" her?

The problem is obvious - you didn't get angry enough. Everyone knows that getting angry at public officials is the best way to get things done in Thailand, so next time ramp it up a level then maybe they won't need to come to your house. Shouting also helps so make sure to shout as loudly as you can.

Thailand Ranks Ninth in the World for Country Most Open for Business
Wow, what a lengthy rant. By the way you do know the Thai Embassy did not compile this list or conducted this survey, nor are they making any claims. Yes, there is a lot of bureaucracy in Thailand. You're going to the DBD every time you want an affidavit??? You do know there is an e-service, and you do know you can get them from pretty much any bank too. Takes 5 minutes.

Electric Vehicles in Thailand
So, first impressions are that it is really cool looking especially in that "cloud blue" colour with the "breeze" interior. Interior feels solid with nice tactile qualities to the materials. My research ended there and I didn't sit in it for size because there were too many people and I couldn't be arsed - I'll save that for when I can go and see one in a dealer and can plop the family in it. But I think these will sell very well, it looks much better than its competitors in my opinion. Would definitely consider trading my XC40 in for one but all depends on the family plop test as it might be a smidge too small but hard to tell. Or maybe trade in the wife's Honda HR-V instead and we become an all-Volvo family. But reserving judgement as could be swayed by the BYD Seal. But well done Volvo I say, looks great in the flesh.

Thailand’s airlines resist price war despite rising operational costs
Funny, as soon as I read the article I did the same thing. Wondering why my flight next week cost me 10,800 baht. But you made the same mistake as I did - that is one way. 1,000 x 13 baht = 13,000 baht return. So they are well within the cap.
