So you deny you'll post any old rubbish just to get your ridiculous post count up. Over 60 a day on average. Yet now you make a random post of a picture that you posted on Sunday, 2-3 days ago, for what purpose. THE SAME PHOTO. Why?
-
Yes, that is obvious. However I am not one if that matters. Without giving you my life story, I quit my job here last year to set up my own business. I had a very good salary for 29 years and have been living off Thai savings ever since I quit. I own a nice house in Bangkok, two nice cars, my kids both go to international school. Last year my wife needed a kidney removed and I paid cash at a private hospital, similar to your story. Etc etc blah blah, whoop de doo. For various reasons I can't move money from my UK business account here instantly, and what I need to pay tomorrow is an unexpected semi-emergency. Hence asking for advice and wondering if I need to worry about a temporary 2-3 day cashflow issue that takes me under 400k whilst I am under consideration. Even if I was a pauper my question was one from someone living here by the rules and trying to do the right thing. I have been the grateful recipient of your advice on a few occasions for which I am very thankful. But you shouldn't look down on others who are trying to do the right thing and not paying agents to get around the rules (which I would totally understand would irk you). Just an unexpected blip which can happen to anyone and it normally wouldn't even be an issue - it is just bad timing. Life story over.

Yeah, thanks. @DrJack54 As I mentioned I have to make an urgent sizeable payment from here tomorrow, and moving funds here from overseas can take 2-3 days. In that interim period I will dip below 400k unless I borrow from a friend here first and repay when the funds arrive. I would just rather avoid troubling anyone if it is not too risky. Thanks.

Hi, I did my non O extension renewal last month and have the usual "under consideration" stamp to go back on 14th July. All good. All docs, financials etc were spot on. Just today something unexpected came up and I need to make a fairly chunky payment tomorrow which will see me dip under 400k. I can move some money here but not in time. I am sure there is no question as they have a full 6 month statement in my application and it's always been well above 400k. Is there any chance they may ask to see my bank balance again when I go back on the 14th? It didn't happen last time and I have never heard of it, but it is bothering me. Has anyone heard of this happening? Are we officially required to keep the money seeded until final approval, or only until the application? Do I have any need to worry? If so maybe I can borrow from a Thai friend in the interim to cover me until my funds arrive, but I would rather not if I don't have to. Thanks for any advice.

I was paying 2,700-something for True per month. For internet and the Platinum Package. I got shocking service, especially when the internet went downhill and I asked to cancel it - "Cannot, as it is a package with the TV". Finally cancelled it all now but they didn't make it easy. I have been an AIS customer for maybe 25 years, always got good service. Not sure why you are emailing them - call them, they speak English! As AIS are not making the coverage themselves, they are taking a feed from Sky or the other broadcasters, so it will be exactly the same. I don't care if we don't get the match build up or the English half time punditry - we didn't get that with True either. The only other thing I will miss from True is the F1, but a year's subscription on Bein for F1 is 1,199. So I will be getting a year of all premier league, FA Cup, and F1 for the price of one 1.5 months' of True.

True, and it nothing to do with this.

I know from a friend who subscribed that you are definitely only allowed to be signed in on one device at a time. So if you are signed in on your tablet you can't sign in on your TV. Obviously I don't know if that is the issue in your case, but the one device thing is properly enforced.

I got an AIS Play box when I installed AIS fibre a couple of months ago so got that set up today. It has Monomax and Netflix and all the usual apps pre-loaded, but it is essentially an Android box so you can install whatever you like. And via AIS the premier league is only 199 baht a month which is just crazy cheap. They also have some really good cheap entertainment packages: HBO Max, Disney +, Netflix etc. https://www.ais.th/en/consumers/entertainment/ais-play

What's it got to do with Keir Starmer? Did you reads the link you posted? You didn't did you, you just saw the headline. They said it at a concert in 2023. It was only 17 months later that someone showed the video to police and made a complaint. For summary offences charges must be brought within six months of the incident happening, not 17 months later. Do you expect Keir Starmer to have the power of time travel? Can he tell the police to ignore the law on statutory time limits for summary offences? Why are you blaming him exactly? It was a nasty and stupid thing to say and they should have been reported earlier so they could have been charged under the Public Order Act. But they weren't, but yeah, Keir let it go, right?
-
Right, so first of all you said they were not arrested (because they are Muslim). Then when I tell you that they were arrested, charged, and brought to trial you double down and say it's been swept under the carpet. It's just utter nonsense, it was widely reported in the press and on the news at the time. You want them to re-report it maybe once a week just in case BarraMarra missed it? Really, it's best to stop digging.
-
Of course you do, of course they are converting.
-
What??? So are you admitting you were wrong and they were actually charged and are going to trial, or not? You said they weren't charged. And it WAS publicly reported on. BBC, Sky, Guardian, Daily Mail (!), literally EVERYWHERE. So it WASN'T kept out of the press, was it? How do you convince yourself of the nonsense you come out with? A simple Google search would help you in future. The case was complicated because there were counter complaints of a police officer stamping on one of their heads - it was caught on CCTV. So every side needed to be looked at: it is called due process and is the course of justice. Once that was investigated the officer was cleared of all accusations and charges were pressed against the assailant. What is your problem with that? You don't like justice that follows the rule of law? Due process should not be followed for brown people? I have no idea what this means, but pretty sure it is more imaginary nonsense.
-
Why would I when my employment and then my business has been here for 30 years? Sorry what is your comment trying to prove? I can't comment on the country I grew up in, most of my family and childhood friends live in, and that I visit several times a year because I earn my living and have a family in Thailand? You want me close my business and move back to make you happy?
-
Keep up to date with your imagined nonsense. They were charged on 20th December, appeared in court on January 16th, plead not guilty. And there will be a trial starting tomorrow. I know you get angry at justice taking its course, especially when brown Muslims are subject to the same proceedings as your beloved white people and your imagined legal favouritism is shown to be false. But yeah, just repeat the lies anyway. They got away scot free, right?

Donald Trump Seems A Sure Thing For a Nobel Peace Prize!

No, he really wouldn't. If he did that I would happily praise him. Not likely though is it? What a stupid thing to say. I could also say he could walk down the street naked, punch orphans in the face, and his supporters would still say that was a genius move. -
Yes, I have been in London twice so far this year and I'll be going there again in the summer. I have two brothers and a sister living there, a long with my nieces and nephews, so I am there often and they are there full time. And they all voted for Khan. London's great. I also spend quite a bit of time in Liverpool as have a brother and nieces and nephews there as well as my parents and lots of old school mates. Parts of Liverpool are a bit scummy but they have been since the war and it is nothing to do with Muslims.
-
Londoners did. Do you think London has enough Muslims to out vote the general populace? What an idiot, and you clearly know nothing. Can you tell me the voting population of London? It's around 6 million. How many voted last time? And how many Muslims are there? Work it out. So Sadiq Khan is a savage is he? What acts of savagery has he committed? Or is you hate filled bile just based on ignorance?

Your country is spiraling downwards very very quickly. But the blind can't/won't see it.
