  1. Okey Dokey. My other post explaining the process and why your beliefs are misguided probably had too many words or facts for you to read. Sorry about that. Back to your imaginary scenarios that live in your head and not in the criminal justice system.
  2. Nonsense - ignorant nonsense at that.
  3. If you lose your phone you don't lose your visa. It is on their database. Agree a physical passport is better, and they are not going away at all.
  4. Ok, call it a digital identity usable for for domestic flights. Is that better? That is exactly what it is.
  5. I live in Thailand. I have lots of family in the UK. You clearly don't know how the justice system works so you fill in the blanks with your own imagined scenarios. 1. It is a complex case with multiple parties involved, needing thorough investigations by Greater Manchester Police (GMP), the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS). Yes, partly due to the complaints against the police violence, which was rightfully eventually dismissed. 2. Because there were accusations of police brutality that needed to be investigated, and there are racial/political undertones the CPS needed to go through all the evidence to make sure it was completely watertight, legally sound, defensible in court and there was no wriggle room for them to get out of it - surely that's a good thing? Or would you rather they rushed it through, there are holes their lawyers exploit and they get out of it via a loophole or a mistake in evidence collection just to satisfy the braying mob by rushing things? 3. They were charged in December, less than five months after their arrest. That is not unusual for a complex case with multiple agencies and complaints and a vast array of evidence to be examined. It is not a simple open and shut case no matter what you think. 4. They plead not guilty which meant it needs a criminal trial and has to be scheduled in to the criminal justice system which always has a significant backlog of cases. And this is expected to be a 3-4 week trial, no small matter. All of the above is verifiable, usual, and the way the course of justice goes, especially in a sensitive case such as this. If the evidence is not absolutely nailed down before charges are brought and they get off on a technicality what do you think would happen? Riots on the streets probably, so let them do their jobs. If they get let off to improve community relations or whatever nonsense term you use then you will have a rightful complaint and I would join you. But please stop imagining scenarios and the imaged reactions to them as it is all in your head.
  6. I agree with your sentiments but please leave Lux out of it. Lux is manufactured by Unilever, a British-Dutch company. It is not American. #prayforlux
  7. Sorry, that video is completely incorrect, as is the title of this thread. From 15th July 2025 they are moving to a digital VISA system for certain types of visa (not all types) and are not issuing physical stickers anymore. However any previously issued physical visas still remain valid. From 2027 a digital passport will be coming but it is optional and only valid for internal UK travel, not international travel. And knowing how the Uk government handles tech I would expect that to be pushed back. There are no changes to the PASSPORT system. Physical passports are still the norm. Pretty much everything in that video is wrong.
  8. Fair enough for old people, absolutely.
  9. Now you're getting indignant over things that you have imagined might happen (but haven't happened), and then what might happen to "you" (whoever your "we" is) after that thing that might have happened (but hasn't happened), possibly happened. Way to go! The pearl clutching is strong with this one.
  10. No I didn't. It makes a decent amount but 458 lb-ft is hardly ground breaking is it. Don't remember saying that. Don't remember saying that, You're getting closer. Most of them are heaps of old tech laden rubbish. Unsophisticated, cheap, shoddy. I can see why you like them. I do like the Ford GT though. And the Hennessey Venom F5. So not true to say I don't like American cars full stop. I just don't like most of them.
  11. Ok ok, racism has nothing to do with it. If they were British born second or third generation white Christian immigrants from America you'd all be in the same tizz calling for them to be deported, calling them American (can't possibly be British - being born in a stable blah blah), questioning their religion (when it had nothing to do with the attack). Of course, how silly of me. Carry on.
  12. Jeez, £95k for that heap of rubbish. How is it possible to get such a low amount of hp from a massive 6.2 litre engine? Inefficient, old fashioned push rod technology, plastic panels, nasty interior. There is a very good reason no one outside of America buys American cars, tariffs or no tariffs.
  13. They are British. "Islam is not a race" - the racists' favourite "get out of jail free" card.
  14. Farang don't stand? I stand even when there are seats. We're usually only on there for a short period, why do you need to sit down?
  15. You really do live in a fantasy world. You and others constantly bringing this up, when others (like me) explained the due process is more complex as there are claims against the police and video of a police officer stamping on one of their heads. Once those claims were investigated and dismissed the criminal prosecution could proceed. It is how the law works, just that none of you wanted to hear that as you would rather believe your conspiracy theories that it is being buried. You can't seriously believe this. You are Farage's wet dream, a blind follower who swallows everything unquestioningly. As explained above - and countless times in other threads - there is something called "due process" which needs to be followed and was being followed. Farage has got nothing to do with this other than jumping on a bandwagon to score points, much like Yaxley-Lennon and the grooming gangs. Even one of your kind was on here the day before the trial started saying no arrests had been made in this case because they are Muslim. It is hilarious. Agree. God I really hope you mean it, thank you.
  16. Ok, enlightened one, funny that you're talking about propaganda when it seems that is what you have been swallowed copious amounts of. Can you share you source of your enlightenment please? Where do you seek the truth from? Please share.
  17. Great, thank you for that. I'll be sure to use his full name next time I decide to write something about him........which will be never. And you be sure to call him Bob Vylans as you use Yaxley-Lennon's non-double barreled made up name. Wouldn't want any hypocrisy now, would we.
  18. I have only referred to him once and I have no idea what his real name is. I'd never heard of the bloke before everyone got their knickers in a twist and used them to beat the BBC for their usual reasons.
  19. This. This is what swung me over to the EV side (although I haven't bought one yet). Driving and experiencing it. But yeah, it requires an open mind so no chance of it happening with the likes of Jonny.
  20. Ah, I didn't know that, but it makes sense and explains why it suddenly got a lot better!
  21. I agree with that. Toyota spent years with their eyes and ears closed and hoped when they opened them again the whole EV thing would have gone away, even to the extent of spending millions on anti-EV propaganda which it seems Trouble and Grumpy has eagerly lapped up. Toyota are in no way competitive in the EV market. Don't forget some remarkable new engine that will kill EVs is "Just around the corner" and has been for a decade or more, and, frankly, doesn't exist at all. Something surprised me though. I am currently working on some TV commercials for the 2026 Toyota bZ (they've dropped the 4x bit) for the American market. We shot them here using the 2023 model and are replacing the cars with CGI versions of the 2026 model as it was not available to shoot. So I have been spending a lot of time with CG models and tech info of the 2026 version. I have to say it is really nice. It looks clean and sharp and modern - a new front end from 2023, less blockiness and less plastic, upgraded interior, bigger battery, more range, faster charging, and a lot more power (around 380 bhp I think and 4.9 seconds to 100kmh). Also flappy paddles for different levels of regen. I think it comes out second half of this year in the States. No idea about here. I still think it will be way overpriced for here, I still wouldn't buy one (I would buy a BYD Sealion - faster, better spec etc), but it seems they might have figured out how to make a decent EV at last. Time will tell if this is a fluke or if it marks a change in attitude. Either way they have a heck of a lot of catching up to do.
  22. To be fair, it was pretty funny
  23. Sigh. So we're not allowed to use examples to point out unbelievable hypocrisy of posters now? Who made you the forum Nazi?
  24. Yes, as an example to point out the hypocrisy of Jonny who was condemning Vylan for having a double barreled name but trying to pretend he hasn't. Yet he worships Yaxley-Lennon who does the exact same thing. Hypocisy of the highest order. It is perfectly fine to use examples to make a point you know. And you're jumping in to a discussion between two posters that has nothing to do with you. Just thought I would point that out. Oh, and then the poster came out with an outrageous lie that Yaxley-Lennon was jailed for "trying to expose the systemic rape of children.". So I took him to task on it because it is a ridiculous lie and if he genuinely believes that he has deeper issues than I thought. Is that not allowed under your forum rules?
