  1. Also saw a rumor about Van Der Vaart bid of 10 million pounds.

Im betting this transfer window (next week or so) will see a lot of desperate sellers, is this less then that pointless charade in Madrid paid for him?

  2. while lescott isn't worth 25m, he's undoubtedly different gravy to taylor who is frankly rubbish.

reason you're not shifting coloccini, xisco etc is that they're on stupid wages. you'd have to release them on free transfers and even then you'd have to buy out their remaining contracts.

Youre right why Coloccini and Xisco wont <deleted> off surely Ron Geremi has some offers he's only 1 yr left, but Taylors got all the faculties to be top notch, donkey Adams didnt reach his potential until 25-26 there are similarities.

Anyway <deleted> to you girls watching the Sky Sports League or whatever they call it these days, i shall be travelling to South London to watch a real game of football in a league that doesnt need marketing to foreigners, Welsh and ( ????? how i wish TV werent PC) to pay their teams wages! :) Apart from good English food, its the one thing Thailand can never offer.

  3. Good luck with that buddy, would like to see you try pulling a girl at a shopping mall. Please put it on youtube. You'd probably have better luck at Walking Street.

Some of us were under 30 not too long ago with all our teeth glistening, with devastating wit the girls struggled to keep there underwear on my learn-ed best friend!

OK i had to bullshit this topic up a bit to make it Thai related.

BUT .... In the countries where HIV is prevelant in for example 1 in 100 people (like Thailand) is it a TABOO subject that promiscuity (multiple partners) is a MAJOR factor behind why HIV is so prevelant.

1st world 3rd world it doesnt matter ive nothing against <deleted> as many people as what tickles peoples fancy (so long as they arent trading down!) but for all you devastatingly witty people, im just curious as to whether this is a MAJOR factor behind the spread of HIV ... as ive never heard it mentioned before but in my simplistic view of planet earth there is a chance it could be!

  4. So Mr PC/Liberal thinks he's a bit of a comedian by having a cheap shot about homosexuals ...... i'm sure this book is better in the hands of people who found their partner off the internet, people such as yourself.
Oh dear now you are falling into the same trap as him...............I met my wife on the internet, so what? Married 3 years now.

I read the book and found it very useful, sure it doesnt apply to everyone but it helps especially being half written in Thai.

Good luck to you and your wife i hope you have a fun life, if thats how people meet then thats how people meet, but when one is countering a cheap shot on the TV forum he has to stoop low to gain the upper hand! :)

  5. not in Germany yet....but I forwarded it to 2 german newspapers. I think the attention of international press would help sometimes. But normally we all know. In a week or two nobody gives a sh1t anymore.

Even if this guy was not a good one, nobody deserves to die like this.

my condolences to his family and friends

How should the attention of german newspapers help else then wreck the tourism even more? And that doesn't really help, does it?

Errrmmm some guy gets blown up into small pieces in the most horrific way and you'd prefer it to be forgotten about for the sake of a few tourists not coming ... you're a genius!

Too many farangs are getting murdered its almost socially acceptable to knock one off, if getting this horrific story in the german press gets the Thai law makers to start even thinking about the safety of its guests, thats has to be a good thing.

Sprecken sie english? I didn't say it should be forgotten, it is obvious that the story comes in the german news, even without some TV memeber writing to them, I just asked How it should help? You are talking about "Thai law makers"?? What do they have to do with someone getting blown apart, you want to tell me they didn't make a law against this yet??? <deleted>!!! How the law makers gonna protect us, tell me!

Ok i will write this slowly so you understand.

The Thai lawmakers need to start enforcing laws to protect Farang guests far better then they are currently doing, even in the case of minor violence it is free reign for Thais to beat Farang senseless without them neeeding to worry about any kind of justice .... this violence is escalating and is what leading to the amount of Farang dying before their time in LOS.

So if it is the press enough and it starts affecting tourism this is a good thing, in you OP you clearly were bothered that this will affect tourism please read back to see what youve written.

  7. There was a similar case in America not too long ago where a Pizza delivery guy was sent into do some kind of robbery with a bomb attached to him and a 45 minute timer attached, but once it was attached it wasnt coming off and blew the guy to pieces caught on TV ..... seems like this is a copycat.

To think you could meet whoever set this up and you wouldnt know what they were capable of.

  8. OK this has nothing to do with the sex industry in LOS.

If i were to have unprotected sex with a HIV infected female the chances of me actually catching it are something like 1 in 300, and 150 to 1 chance for an infected Male to pass it to a female. http://www.ukcoalition.org/HIV-Transmission/4705.htm so from these stats it could be said that it takes a lot of unprotected sex to become HIV +.

Now i dont adhere to the Thais arent educated about condom use, that is a lie they know all about there use and the risks of not using them.

From a personal point of view Thailand more so then any country in the world Thailand is easier to pull a girl on a night out or day at the shopping mall, im not talking girls in the pay4play industry but girls with normal jobs and often boyfriends. (now i realise my research is obviously flawed)

But is this the reason that HIV rates in Thailand are so high, in that both males and females are far more promiscuous here then in nations with lower HIV/Aids rates?

  9. E.D.U.C.A.T.I.O.N = keyword

Thai people are very well educated about the use of condoms to prevent HIV/Aids yet they choose other wise.

Its the same in African nations they are educated but decide not to, your argument is leftwing propoganda that poor ol 3rd world person is stupid and needs rescuing by silver spoon fed, super educated western liberals.

  10. lol

you TELL your girlfriend to do stuff?

you PUT her on a plane if she wants or not?

    that's not a gf, that's an employee.

We were at the airport about to board a flight to go to Samui to stay in a top end hotel for a week when i told her i needed some SPACE and a days FREEDOM, no real life changing moment involving me being a little Hitler, but you can make things up if it keeps you happy!

Is there a bit in the book to help me with cultural differences when the gf is asking for sex and i'm too tired, i usually just make grunting noises and murmer i'm sleeping before rolliing onto my side, did LL Chrissy P recommend this technique or just sending her to her brothers room for the night!

  11. I read it a long time ago. In fact a western male gave it to me - I thought it was relevent no matter what relationship you are in. My Thai boyfriend at the time also read it and said it was worth reading to understand western attitude. yes, I got "my space" as well.

See this is what i'm getting at, i had a Thai gf who wasnt giving me enough space so i put her on a plane to Samui with a hotel booked and said i will come and see you tomorrow i need some time alone, its doing my head in being with you 24/7.

Now please dont tell me you need read a book to give you the balls to TELL your partner you need a bit of space, this is just the very basics of common sense.

On Skysports news that Taylor is in talks to go to Everton, watch us get 7 million whilst Everton go on to get 25 million for Lescott who is in no way a better player.

I'll be disappointed if he does go considering he claims to be a Newcastle supporter.

The useless pr7cks who i truly hate are so fcuken useless they should be getting the likes of Collicini, Xisco, Butt all players signed or given contracts by this regime and Geremi out the door for whatever fee that can get.

Singing Die Die Ashley fcuken Die.

  13. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

(from whats written i take it that) He does see her alone his problem is he wants the world to know theyre loves young dream after 4 full dates.

Maybe the answer is in their somewhere as to why she doesnt want everyone to know!

PS Ive seen a girl very recently about 4 times and havent told anyone maybe me and your Thai bit of skirt can go 50/50 on the counsellor to see what childhood experience has left us so traumatised as to play our cards close to our chest. :)

  14. Well done Burnley! Results like this restore my faith in the Premier League.

Mackems arent often right but in this case i'll agree ....... was also good to see Fergie so magnanimous in defeat, Benitez could do with a few lessons here!

  15. and the game is not what I thought it was. People probably think I'm crazy but I'm not going to stay in the game for anyone else."

Good on the lad I say. At least he's honest and I for one hope he goes on to persue something he loves.

Fair play, but he's got one hel_l of a chance to set himself up financially for just 5 or 6 years work, i used to know a guy who got a 3 yr contract aged 18 for Villa he said theyd only work/train 2 hours a day 4/5 days a week!

Football is not for me - Supple

Ipswich have confirmed goalkeeper Shane Supple has had his contract cancelled by mutual consent so he can pursue a career outside football.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international only signed a new deal to stay at Portman Road this summer but has decided to leave the game after 38 appearances for the club.

The 22-year-old said: "It's something I have been thinking about for a long while.

"It's obviously a big decision but I feel that playing professional football is not something I want to continue doing as a career. Deep down my heart is not in the game anymore.

"I have fallen out of love with the game and I'd always said if that happened I wouldn't hang around.

"When I was younger all I wanted to do was play in the Premier League but as you grow up you realize there are other things in life and the game is not what I thought it was. People probably think I'm crazy but I'm not going to stay in the game for anyone else."

Looks like Keanes man management skills are working a treat.

  17. There were almost 37,000 there on Saturday which is tremendous given the turmoil at the club, and if they keep on winning the attendances will rise.

43,904 at last nights game inspite of the fat cnuts ongoing attempt at destroying the club, Liverpool could only manage 400 more (1000 under capacity), reckon if he leaves theyll get near the 50k mark.

oops sorry, clicked on the wrong thread, thought this was the lower league forum. please carry on.

No probs, i take it youre doing some research after that club who've been in the lower leagues opened a can of whoop ass on you last night ....... That Burnley goals got to be a contender for goal of the season im sure you agree! :)

  19. Last night I dreamt Burnley beat Man Utd. 3-1

My dreams have been profitable so far, because I dreamt 6-1 to the Gunners at the weekend.

Last night i had a dream i had a fight with either Rocky Balboa or Sylvester Stalone, cant remember if i won or not though would have made a nice double! :)

  20. Hate to say it Chuppachops, but I agree that they may go up given some stability. However the situation isn't helped when good players are still leaving the club. Duff's just gone......who next?

Taylor and Coloccini are being heavily linked with moves away, id be willing to bet clubs will bid for Barton, Smith and Guiterrez, if they go theyll not be looking to hot.

Should Ashley depart the crowds will rise by several thousand, should Shearer get the job i think there will be 50K on a regular basis if results are good.

As for Ashley, I think it's about time we gave him the FREEDOM OF SUNDERLAND :)

If anyone in Sunderland had the freedom do to as they pleased ... the first thing theyd do is leave! :D

PS Surely you Mackems prefer being in the same league as Newcastle as at least then you get 2 games a season where your giro covers the metro ticket .... is this not the case?

  21. When we get robbed by someone from our town we seldom blame it on our culture. I got robbed in Bristol and I didnt blame it on English traditions. Idiots here get robbed in Bangkok and suddenly its Thai culture to blame. They are, plain and simple, complete morons. Normally, too old to be taught differently either.

OxfordWill you seem to be from the land of Ivory Towers, where no one is pigeon holed ... well except for and i quote "Idiots who get robbed in Bangkok" (what a truly astonishing thing to write)

I cant believe for one moment you got mugged by some horrid scumbag and just passed it off as an unfortunate incident without thought of why it happened. Bristol has many areas most notably (St Pauls) that is full of scumbags raised in single parent families and has a huge immigrant population where similar kinds of activity is a part of life for many, you must be aware of this and realise whilst not accepted by many in these areas is unfortunately part of culture (term used loosely) in which they're raised and live.

Stabbings unfortunately are part or Scottish culture (term used loosely) in certain areas, and gun crime is part of culture (term used loosely) for young black males in areas of London, Manchester and Nottingham.

But back to your point on Thai robberies, if a wealthy Chinese Thai is mugged by a young hooligan from Isaan he will definitely blame it on what he perceives as his upbringing and therefore culture (term used loosely).

PS Trooping the Colour and Yorkshire Puddings are English tradition, i dont believe any nation on earth openly claims mugging as one of its traditions!

  22. ^^^^^

I see what youre getting at Ventura, however i went to a farang owned restaurant in Samui and order a pizza that really wasnt very nice, however i had been sat drinking with the owner and his wife for a while, so when asked what i thought of the Pizza i instantly replied it was very nice especially with the fresh ingredients, such a response is programmed into us English and is done in such a way so the Owner didnt lose face, hence making him feel good about his business!

Another time i was with my ex TGF and her family and we were talking about which are good airlines as i was flying with Singapore i said they were very good, i was then asked what Thai Air were like, imo theyre crap as the planes are old ... but i knew there was only one possible answer i could give in that they were as good as any if not better, i used to work in East Europe and the people out there are similar in the sense you've got to say whatever is vaguely something the may be proud of is wonderful no matter how bad it is, as it keeps them happy for a moment.

However if i were well acquainted with any of these people the truth would be more acceptable to say!
