  1. If you want inexpensive parts next day, and qualified service in all Provinces in Thailand, there is presently only one choice of cruiser in TH, Kawasaki 900 Vulcan

That`s what I am driving for the moment;-) Vulcan 900 Custom -2010.

Nice bike. the chromed straight pipes on matt black bike looks great :)

If you want hazzlefree riding, keep it. All others there is always some waiting for parts

Yeah, it`s the Cobra Swept exhaust I imported from US. I also put on the Cobra Fi2000 fuel tuner and the Baron big Air kit.

When I return to Thailand (in a month) i will put on the new tires, Pirelli Night Dragon 200/15 on the rear, and 90/21 on the front. Also put on my new Overdrive rear pulley.

  3. parts and service everywhere almost, in Issan, you have surin, Sisket, Udon, Khon Khen, Ubon, Korat all have people work on them, and can get parts. mostly from Bangkok, the one in Sisket orders from overseas himself. so reall no problem anywhere,

Nice, I live close to Khon Kaen.

  4. I had a vasectomy years ago. Had 2 reversals and still no go. Came to Thailand never expecting to have children again. Went to Nawabutr Clinic in BKK and went through 2 IVF treatments, both successful and have now 3 children.

    Nice children;-)

Can you you tell me a bit more about the IVF treatments? And may I ask how much you had to pay for each treatment?

  5. My wife and I now have some time to prod a child together. As time goes for both of us (I am 44 and she 39), we decided that maybe it is time to get some professional help.

So I hope that some of you have been in the same sitiuasjon, who will share their experiences about how you got help to get a child.

There is talk of large sums, often THB 200,000 for each experiment, and there is no guarantee.

Do you have any advice to give us, we really want a child or two.

We both have undergone tests to see if there are medical reasons why we can not make a child, only "negative " was that she had some narrow fallopian tubes and has received medication for this.

According to doctors so can not find them any reason why we should not be able to get a child.

She has also gone on hormone treatment without that we have succeeded.

  6. Houses in the "company name", is it safe?

Are planning on buying a house in Pattaya area, and from what I understand it is the only legal way to "own"this in his own name is to create a company that will be the owner?

If so, this is something you can safely do? There is talk that this is in the "gray zone"and that with time the Thai authorities will put a stop to this.

If / when they put a stop to this, what will this mean for those who have already created one such company / ownership?

What would such a measure of the Thai authorities mean for the real estate market?

Will we get a huge housing crash, with prices falling over to almost nothing?

  7. With so much money to blow, which method are you going to use to actually own a house?,a subject that has been done to death lately.. If no Thai wife I would have a chat with the Land registry Dept first.

I`m not "blowing", it just in the marked for bay :jap: What`s the different if I bay a house for 3 mill. THB or or 15 mill THB, it`s my money?

The house will be in a company name.

  8. And you obviously have a lot of it.... so what do you care about "out the window" thing?

But that do`s not mean that I am willing to let the money fly out the window? How you gonna end up with some money if you let your money fly all over?

I`m not that rich, even if I have some money in the bank. You life can last for a long time... so make sure you have enough to be OK ;)

  9. Yeah right... WHY?

I would recommend C'Est Palai village Soi Watboon between Sukhumvit and Jomtien Beach road.

Very attractive and quiet yet close to entertainment and restaurants. All houses are of a unique design,

have private pool and there are a few for sale.

    Thank`s a lot Andywadsworth :)

    I will check it out.

  10. WHY Would you spend so much money on a house?

    Because I CAN and I WANT ;)

No, seriously. I want to spend my life down here, and want a nice house. I still have money left for a descent lifestyle and a good time, also have a very good income each month from my pension, so don`t have to worry to much. But thank`s for you concern :jap:

    Howdy MoneyMan,

Any overpriced poor quality eight million baht abode that you can buy in this gangland hooker ghetto can also be rented for 25,000 baht per month. You could rent that thang for 26 years at 25,000 baht per month and only spend eight million baht during that 26 years.

If you bought it and rented it out, it would take you 26 years to break even.

    FYI

It`s money out the window to rent, as I say earlier, I looking to bay a house ;)

  12. If you don't know Pattaya very well you should spend some more time there and get to know the different areas and property prices.

Maybe rent a condo for a few months.

After a while you may decide you prefer Isaan after all.

Thank`s for the input Chickenlegs, :jap:

I use to live in Bang Saen a few years, and I do miss the mountains and the sea. But then again Bang Saen is a bit quiet, so I guess Pattaya will suit me just fine.

  13. You will get a very modest house for that in the Pratumnak and Jomtien areas . Can you up it B25 ? :whistling:

Look in Pattaya Trader to see and get an idea of whats advailable .

    That`s a joke, right?

As I say earlier, I`m not that known around in Pattaya so any help will be good.
