  1. It doesn't matter udd or goverment the girl was shot by the goverment (soldiers) when she was in a temple, and don't try to say show me the proof. Protest is the only way for change if we didn't have change we would still have slavery, children 7-8-9 years of age working down the mines,do you think it was "crazy protesters"who helped to change this.

The nurse was "probably" shot by government troops would be more accurate. The rest is simply hyperbole. I am not sure what country/countries you are referring to with your slavery and child labor rants but where I am from "protest" particularly armed violent protest did not end any of those things.

i am sure if you read some history books of 1800's you will find out

I think most people think otherwise. What matters to most people are their own money and income, health and wellbeing, family and friends. All the whining about some crazy protesters who died due to their own stupidity is irrelevant irritating noise.

I am sure the dead young nurse who got shot will be coming to haunt you. What a stupid man you are :jerk: :jerk: :jerk:

I do not include that nurse in the category "crazy protesters who died due to their own stupidity". If she was a UDD supporter, there would be no doubt that the UDD would use her death to smear the government. If she was a government supporter and strongly anti-UDD and anti-Thaksin, I'm sure they wouldn't be crying for her, as they only whine about deaths of "reds".

My post was to highlight the fact that most people would rather get on with their own lives.

  3. Red shirt leader Thida warns Ratchaprasong businessp eople not to be enemies of group; Jatuporn says worsening econ not as bad as dead reds /TAN_Network

"Red shirt leader Thida warns Ratchaprasong business people not to be enemies of group"

Is this another example of red democracy?

  4. You are no doubt aware of the UK Govts rules about not paying annual pension increases to recipients living in Thailand and other places outside europe. Before you get in touch with pension service just consider your options first.

    Yes, an absolute scandal.

Options? Use a UK address /bank and have it paid there and transfer overseas when required etc?

Be carefull it was in a UK news paper that the goverment is clamping down on people living abroad and still cliaming money off the th e social services (hospital treatment ' winter allowance and pension increases) Thailand was mentioned in the paper. It's easy for them to find out by looking at your passort record, it's up to you what you do you might get away with it for years then all of a sudden they want their money back, hard not having any pension untill you pay it all back.My goverment pension isn't due untill 2012 (if they are still going to pay it ) I think it is wiser to tell them the truth.

    No it isn't.

OK maybe 'not easy' but it can be done Yes?

  6. Thanks for your reply,my wife does not know how much money is going into the account untill it is in there, and we know that her brother has just changed jobs. We shall be going in to the main branch in Lampang on Monday and so will let you what happens.

Bangkok bank in Lampang said it was the fault of the bank in Libya they " sent it twice"? who knows, all money paid, all smiles at the bank.

  7. The wifes brother has gone to Libya to work, to be able to be able pay off his debts and possibly have money to build a house when he comes back to Thailand. He gets paid in the Bangkok every two months,(35000-38000 baht). This month (December) there was extra money in the account,I must point that the money goes in to an account in my wifes name as she pays off his debts for him, so she with drew 35000 baht and left the remainder in there for about two weeks, then drew out the remainder, yesterday she had a telephone call from Bangkok (Bangkok Bank),saying they had made a mistake please pay back the money ,which I know will have to be paid back (most of the money is still in the house),but the girls atitude was 'if you havent got the money go and borrow it'',but lets not forget whos fault it is they sent the money, they had plenty of time to get in touch with my wife but they didn't. The total amount that has been missed paid by the bank (not just to my wifes acc.is about $8000) so they must be phoning arround many other people. What I am asking is can I say to pay back the money at so much a month or will they make us pay it all back at once. There is no problem with paying it all at once but just the banks atitude.

    No snarky remarks please
