I have been watching TAN on and off since it started I find it very anti TRT/PTP and it seems that many 'english' speaking announcers could do with going back to english classes to learn how to speak better english,to me it seems that 'rich daddy'got them the job.There is one announcer who is on in the morning reading the news really makes my day,I would not pay her in rusty washers,she should be the first to go back to school.

No one has mentioned the rationale for the closings, flawed though it may be. Thais can only vote where they are registered. For example, many workers in Pattaya are from Isaan and can only vote there. If the bars were open, the bar owners would be unlikely to allow their employees to travel home to vote. The bar closings give them the opportunity to go and vote. It seems absentee ballots and such are not available in Thailand.

I dont think they will allow iyou to change your address as they will want to know if you are a no longer resident in the UK.

If you are a non resident they will not allow you to open an account

I do not want to open an Account, I already have one for over 20 Years.

I just wanted to know if i can change my address on my account to be Thailand even though i am still a UK citizen, retired in Thailand.

My barclay credit card has a Thai address and the statements come here but they will not send a new card to the Thai address.

Just take some dvd 's with you and ask them to try to play them in the store,I have done this and never been been refused by the staff (try doing that in the UK)
