  1. If there house is not lived in then it does'nt count towards a census. If its rented then the occupents fill the form in but if you are claiming benifit for that address and or pension then you are fcuked as you have just been caught!

Ooooh dear I wonder how much money some people will have to pay back :whistling::partytime2: .

  2. Soi Buakow is a great place to visit if you want to see fat old expats in their cut-off t-shirts drinking gallons of cheap bear chang draft. ewwwwww

How cheap is 'bear' in the soi. :cheesy::giggle:

  3. Everytime one of these 'supporters' makes a post, they expose their lack of general knowledge(for the need of a more polite term).

I wasn't aware that Jackie Chan ever trained in Jiu-Jitsu and most certainly not in the form that I utilise.

    Jackie: Chinese martial arts

    Jiu-Jitsu: Japanese martial arts.

I bet you are ex private school 'boy.ex sas, ex mi5, ex mi6, ex cia or may be just havn't lived life with the working class :jerk: :giggle:

  4. No matter how people try and dress it up, there's only one reason to visit/ live in Pattaya, and I'm only talking about the areas where girls/ ladyboys/ boys are prevalent.

I am in BKK and go there once a month to hit the boxing gym for 4-5 days and have a few days eating decent priced English food, i can genuinely say i dont frequent the girly bars and dont wish to have the same mundane conversation time and again.

Besides unless you go to the gogo bars the women of Pattaya are old, flabby and not my cup of tea, i would have no use for any of them.

Why come to pattaya for pain there must be bars or clubs in bangkok that will give it to you

  5. Hi Pat

Been here since 2002 retired at 55 on a private pension, goverment pension kicks in next year. When I came here the rate was up arround 70,had a house built, new pickup, new motor cycle, new life, the best move I have ever made, there are down sides as well as upside but only you can decide if the time is right. If you come over to live go to the 'Thai Visa' party's you'll meet plenty of people to give you advice,(been to two party's last year Pattaya and Chiang Mai) maybe that makes me a 'groupy'.Any way come over and enjoy your self.

  6. I thought the most common mistake western males make is picking up a girl with undercarriage.

Regarding the original post by the OP who said most pick the ugliest girl around.

Many pick the most beautiful girl around who only later turns into the ugliest girl around. :)

The biggest mistake is GETTING MARRIED TO A THAI WOMAN.

That is followed by BUILDING HER A HOUSE.

    Etc., etc., etc.

Is that your thought for the day,I'm sorry you've had some bad expirences, but not every one has picked a 'bitch'.

  7. Mother-in-law 80+ couldn't sleep at night she said her dead husband (dead for about 40 years)was in the room with her,so she wanted the monks to come and get rid of the man,so I said ok get all your brothers and sisters together and pay for it (I know they wouldn't) that was about 2 years ago never heard no more about.

  8. Best buy it in your girlfriends name then. There was a snippet in one of the broadsheet newspapers last week about house buyers in company names being made to get a business visa. Now that would be expensive

Here we go, the topic is barely two posts old and FUD, makes it's appearance

If you can't give a citation other than one of the broadsheet newspapers please don't post your own biases, especially in answer to a new member who just might believe you :realangry:

I am sure there is someone else here too who saw the piece, not really interested personally.

Why bother to post then :jerk:
