The answer to all the above is no,that's what I don't understand and it's only the one blade,I've had this type 'rot' before but only old blades, but thanks for your help.As others have already noted, there are several parts of your car that are considered consumables, and thus not covered under warranty. Wiper blades, light bulbs, tires, brake pads, clutches, and all types of fluids.
Wiper blades generally remain useful for at least 2 years in Thailand conditions - so yes, it is unusual for them to be failing so quickly. Have you been using any harsh soaps when washing the car? Putting any additives into the windshield washer bottle? Adding any type of protectant to the rubber itself?
-
never emptyLOL. I've never heard of wiper blades being part of a warranty. They are considered a consumable. Did you also complain that your gas tank wouldn't stay full, LOL?
Cheers.
Cheers

dont you think that's the wipers should last more than six months?,the other two are OK.So what is the problem that you see? You've asked for an item not covered by the warranty to be replaced free of charge and the dealer is asking Chevrolet head office for permission to do so. Seems to me that they're being pretty helpful.

I bought a new Sonic six months ago,no problems with the car until now,it's only the large wiper blade the rubber is perished, called in to Chevrolet to get it changed.Out they came, they said 'change now'I said yes so they started to take it off,I said but I'm not paying its a new car it should last longer than six months,no joy pay 800 baht they will change now,I said no,so out came the camera photos taken then they are sent off for permission to change it.Any one else have problems like this.

I think many people on here think that the government blankets are top quality, let me tell you the ones that I have seen are absolute crap and I don't think that they made to last, just like the roads.

Brown envelopes maybe, who knows?<deleted>!? As a former airline pilot, I can assure Thai Visa users that the EU is more strict than the U.S. when it comes to aviation safety. How in the hell did Thailand pass the EU inspection after the U.S. busted them down to category 2? Earlier poster is correct: Airbus or Boeing?

Don't do as I do,you do as I tell you. There must be Officers from Burma involved,Thais wouldn't do it.

It seems like that a lot of English "teachers "are worried about their jobs/work permits that they won't be able to stay in Thailand, don't worry if you have the skills you can get a job in another country, those that don't tough. Its what this country wants, you won't change it,even if it's a stupid thing to do.

My wife and I was talking about leaving our bodies to one of the teaching hospitals,my way of thinking is once you are dead, you are dead.Has any one heard of this,if so how do you go about it?
Sent from my iPad using Thaivisa Connect Thailand
Easily done at Red Cross Unit in grounds of Chulalongkorn Hospital Bangkok. Pleasantly surprised to see how many locals are donating their bodies, as I know that Chinese in particular do not.
Don't know of any regional places.
As I now live near Jomtien, I understand that there is no "collection".
I have no interest in how I am disposed of when I die.[/quote i have done it now with chiang Mai university hospital.

Maybe they should charge every one in the south 35baht for extra security.

Do you think that Thai airways owes more money to the country than Yinluck does over the rice pledging scheme.
-
. The thing is that they make more money by doing repairs than they do by doing a good job in the first place.Cant even keep the sh1tty roads near me repaired from the crap quality they used when constructing them , I watched them literally spray the tarmac on it was that thin and as for sub base.............laughable
PATHETIC

Where I live in the Lampang area there is open cast mining, they are taking out coal and "rocks "for the making of cement,is there any law/rules for how close they can work/extract to the local villages.

maybe you can send me some money for the brother-in-laws sick buffalo.Artique
You do seem to be very childish in your replies, but I do forgive you,I suppose it's all part of growing up.
ad hominem is the best way if you don't have any arguments but want to look right in your own eyes. very predictable
and for sure it's much easier to bash Thais anonymously and smile politely while asking them for a permission to enter their homeland. That is why why I do what I can to show Thai people what many farangs really think of them. And TVF helps me a lot.
if it will sooner or later spoil the life in Thailand of duplicitous people like you - I will be more then happy.
