I'm a retired Belgian senior. I live here in LOS permanently with my TGF and plan to die here.
I thought I had done everything that had to be done with my inheritance to her (lawyer drafted wills) but the OP raised a very worrisome point ie how to get my body released to my TGF for disposal if no NOK of any significance in home country.
I'm going to get her to find out how to deal legally with this.
I'll get back on this thread when I've got the info needed.
Maybe it'll be on me to draft a Belgian Embassy certified letter of disposal of my body to my TGF at my death.
Thanks for the posting nong38
Going to a third, disinterested party, to deal with legal matters may give you the best information you seek.
Edit: I agree nong38 did a nice general service to the TVF members regardless of the member's home country.

I wish you could have made your post without the use of the word "fag".
To add: Believe me, I have nothing good to say about any moron who hits a female rather than walk away and calm down

I like the way that the Gazette, or whatever it calls itself now is always promoting a booming market ( I realise they get advertising revenues from it) yet at the same time quotes over 8000 properties available! In Kamala alone there are loads of empty units, with more on the way. I get a feeling a lot of these projects are washing money. I noticed that one complex at the north end of Patong Beach, just after Graceland that never seemed to have been used has been demolished.
As long as the bank is happy everyone else should be happy???

Not a complete sentence, I think.
Are you saying you have the above items for sale within Thailand?

Do you want to open a training, testing or quack clinic?
I have an old garden hose that could serve as an enema. This may well be rejected but perhaps I can say if you had the right assistant to offer good services things could move positively forward.
or forward positively.
Edit: I don't limit what I'd like to see under a microscope. Certainly I'd like to see my blood and maybe even my pus when it appears or my perpetually blood streaked fecal matter. I'd look at a buggar or wax from my ear.
I only looked once at a school supply store and found microscopes seem to be highly valued/prized in the Kingdom. I merely want my curiosity sated if and when I so choose. I've encountered loads of insects in the Kingdom I'd like to see closer.. And the list goes on and on.
Fair enough?

What about a microscope?
It seems they are prized regardless of age or condition?

Every Royal who is paid for by the British tax payer generates many multiples times more back for the UK treasury and UK business. What do you do? apart from being another whinger who seems to think it unusual that you pay tax? The Royals offer a far better return on investment for the UK than you have ever done.
And you will pass to another form before you can prove such a statement.
Please do you really think such a bold unsupported statement has merit? Or should we rely on statements from agencies that support Royalty?
Please restate with some reasonable substantiation.
TIA.

I miss the location time and era of triple A and the road maps showing different routes, sites and lodgings.
EDIT;
OP I have not seen dial up in long time. How does that work these days? Is it a good service or the only one available in your area?
Last person I knew who used dial up was the wealthy father of a childhood friend who did not want to pay for anything he absolutely did not require. I'm sure that doesn't apply to you.

I wonder what's the next step in prevention of such attacks?
Is banning cars next or will there be some kind of "right to enter a certain area" passport stamp be in the future?
People who want to express their agenda with violence have an array of options and it's impossible to prevent them from using all those options.
This is just another strike against society which will ultimately result in some erosion of liberties throughout much of the Western/developed World.
Prior to 9/11 i remember when it was possible to go to the boarding ramp with friends and relatives in the airport. That period is only going to go down in history as to how it used to be.
Another blow against society.

4000 + pages? That's about as big as the Encyclopedia Britannica. How is it humanly possible to write 4,000 pages about 7 monks scamming the system. Now we know how the police fill their day in; writing voluminous reports!
If you ever have occasion to visit a police station, and see the piles upon piles of paperwork on each desk, you'r wonder how anything ever gets done.

You should specify a price range.
In your first post you say "high end", but high end surround audio stuff means 1 million THB up, that's probably not what you are looking for
You guys have kindly and generously outpriced Mr. Moon, perhaps?

Oh, another difference. This is I consider a plus for Burma and a minus for its neighbours by comparison. Burma is multi-ethnic. Vietnam, except for a small Chinese minority and tribals in the mountains, is a monolithic culture. Thailand, like Cambodia, is overwhelmingly Thai except in border areas and those who do the s:$&! work.
And with one fanatical cultural element Thais are more openly critical of their government than the Burmese. I even had a Vietnamese businessman lecturing me on the evils of communism ('No, China is the teacher, Vietnam is the student' was his reply to my suggestion that China had liberalized). In two trips to Burma I heard no political talk. Even in Cuba a Protestant activist was hurling insults at Castro in our conversation. Not a peep in Burma.
While I do not advocate or personally use recreational drugs, Cambodia is a lot more loosey goosey than Burma and I hear Laos has aromatic coffee shop where Marc Emery woukd feel at ease. What the influence of gangsters is in Burma compared to its neighbours and what is the level of police corruption (convenient for petty matters, scary for big ones) I do not know.
Banking is far superior in Cambodia than any other country in the region.
I agree with the poster that Cambodia tolerates barang small-time business operators much better than Thailand does. And Burma too?
Regarding language Vietnamese is easier to read due to a (some would say bizarre) adaptation of Roman script. But Vietnamese is a *very* tough lingo to master. Burman can't be harder. Khmer, being non-tonal is a lot easier. The only lingos easier in *all* of SEA is Bahasa Melayu/Indonesia and various lingos if the Philippines. ut let's not go there (including the archipeligoes, Borneo and Malaysian penninsula because already the scope of abswering this question is so wide
My question demains unanswered: Why is everyone rushing to Burma? Is it the usual reasons - sex, money and power? Or are the foreign entrepreneurs and corporate employees enamoured of the sunsets over pagodas?
The Great Frontier?
SURVEY: Do you want Trump to finish his first term?
in World News
Posted
I think it's disruptive to the entire word for POTUS to go through the process of removal. It takes a massive amount of government resources in terms of time and money.
I think he should finish his term. But having said that I wonder if any other POTUS has ever had such a turmoil in keeping a staff together.
This POTUS seems to have more than a revolving door in the White House.
Is he having that much difficulty in choosing (thought process as in think!) or is there another reason behind all this?
Ideas?
