Chuwit right in the face of "marijuana mad" BJT as they rally in Bangkok
connda replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
But soapy massage parlors are OK. Especially when you owned them. Dude's got a horrendous case of mixed moral relativism. -
I have a solution: Mexico!

Exactly. My thought too (posted above) - you're right over the target imho. ????

Watch out. My wife would have excoriated her brother including demanding compensation. You wife isn't being "Thai." She is working against you - farang. My wife's brothers and sisters don't come over or allowed on the property without an invite. They don't supervise any the the construction projects we've done over the last decade. They have their own land and houses. So you better ask yourself "Why am I the 'odd-man out'?" I'd stop right now and reassess your marriage before you're over your head (possibly literally in the back woods somewhere). My wife wouldn't stand for this, soooo - Occum's Razor - the family is working together and you are not obviously a part of the family, but just the source of funds. Best of luck. But? Personally it sounds like you are being taken for a ride.

What Sunscreen Do You Use and Why Do You Like Your Brand?
connda replied to connda's topic in General Topics
You don't need a lot of sun exposure to get Vitamin D. https://fastrt.nilu.no/VitD_quartMEDandMED_v2.html -
What kind of visa will military aged men use to stay in Thailand 'indefinitely?' My guess is that they will find that to be a bit of a problem.

Go to your Amphur office where your marriage is on file and request a Kor Ror 2. As simple as that.

It's a PIA but honestly. It's not a "Stack of Paperwork." After 15 years I've got is down pat although I do post yearly to see if there have been any changes. UbonJoe is excellent about keeping us to date. Now, if you're applying for a extension of stay based on a business. Omg. That's a stack of paperwork.

The 5 ‘Fs’ of Soft Power touted by Tourism Minister
connda replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It's a hard problem with soft enforcement so..... fire, fire, fire, fire, fire - and smoke. -
I can recommend this. It also comes in a 0.3 solution also, but I haven't tried that. The one pictured is 200 THB in our Big-C pharmacy. The 0.3 solution is around 350 THB. I can recommend this. I use Natear which is basically saline solution (or just buy a big bottle of 0.9% saline and rinse your eyes first to get the grit out, let them dry out for 5 minutes of so, and then apply one or two drops of Hialid. Best of luck.

Yingluck or Michelle Yeoh? Netizens debate who's the best looking
connda replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I am. -
I use Windows to run a couple of programs that I use once a year. Why? Linux is far superior. I run Win10 in a VM where it can't do much damage. I won't consider WIn11 until my programs are no longer supported by Win10. Probably around 2030 if I'm still alive (or if any of us are still alive).

I've noticed a couple of things recently regarding 'bug meds' for dogs in the last year. 1. The prices have almost tripled in many cases; and 2. That's if you can find it online. Like many things in my life, I set a "this is BS price limit" on certain items that I are convenient but not absolute necessities. I was able to buy pill form bug meds for my dogs for between 600 to 800 THB for three tabs not that long ago. Now the same meds are selling at least twice the amount if not triple. Me? The manufacturer's have price themselves out of the range I'm willing to pay. I'm simply not going to buy them at their new prices. So, I'm looking for alternatives. Anyone have suggestion as to what you're using that is still affordable?

A granny-gramps threesome would be dandy. So says my friend. -
Just wondering what other people use in the way of sunscreen/sunblock and why do you like the brand(s) that you use? I'm interested in trying a new brand. I use Wild Lives 40 however it has a really strong smell, but I like that it's a liquid. Easier to apply but leaves a "slick" on your skin. I also use Vitara 50+ but it seems to have hard little 'balls' in it that makes it sort of uncomfortable to apply. Perhaps that is a "one off." Seems to work well enough though. Then there is just plain zinc oxide. Works well if you're not self-conscious. At my age? I'm not looking to win the Hansum-Man award. What's everyone else using especially as we roll into the months where the sun is very strong.

"Pot smoking" grandson in frame for murder of wife in Surat Thani
connda replied to webfact's topic in Southern Thailand News
Twinkies!!! The devil's scourge. "Muhhhhhaaaaahaaa" Look up Dan White and "The Twinkie Defense" online. "The term originated from the 1979 trial of Dan White, a San Francisco politician, who was charged with first-degree murder. A testifying psychiatrist pointed out that White's consumption of sugary foods, such as Twinkies, could lead to diminished capacity." -law.cornell.edu -

I occasionally drink Kratom Tea and occasionally smoke a 'before bed-time' bowl of bud. I can assure anyone who asks that that combination doesn't turn me into a raging, genocidal maniac. On the contrary, like back in the SF Haight-Ashbury days - "Peace and Love man!" ☮️ <cue Cheech and Chong> What is more likely is a combination of methamphetamine and/or alcohol. Tweekers and drunks can go ballistic in a heart-beat over just about nothing. However there is a major PR push to demonize 'gun-cha.' This all is the Thai equivalent of Reefer Madness. -

Their both hotties in my humble and lecherous, elderly, "dirty-old-man" opinion. <rubs hands together, winks, laughs, cackles with glee> However, for me - Michelle Yeoh. She moves better than Yingluck. ❤️- 59 replies
