  1. Nah I will whing at Honda about a 29 year old bike when someone with a 50 year old Triumph can still get parts. ???? And no I don't want Triumph. ????
  2. I wondered why the Panasonic battery on my New Isuzu only lasted 1. 1/2 years. ????
  3. Not so likely if someone contracts Dengue No.2. get to a hospital asap.
  4. Yeah it's difficult if you live in places like I do to find a good place to change things on big bikes like tyres.
  5. A research college in Oxford has developed a vaccine that has great results against malaria a virus is something bit difficult to sort out.
  6. New bikes you have so no problem. My friend found that with tyres and his 500x so bought tyres himself and they will fit them. Red Barron helps me with Honda parts if available if not I searched s/h ones or for after market, P/lock Honda won't help at all.
  7. They are all the same with older bikes maybe his head bearings didn't need changing but with dealers is change for new don't adjust or fix anything. I find unless you do find a good management dealer that have at least one decent mechanic instead of service spanners and you don't know things yourself you are at their mercy. Stay away from Phisanulok Honda big bike jokers if you have an old bike.
  8. Sounds an OK price for OEM steerhead bearings, changing them is a job I hate doing also changing fork seals. As for clutch cable you could buy one cheaper but you have someone fit if you can't do it yourself. I guess you could of said no to a airfilter and got a aftermarket washable one again if your able to take out and to work at things like that yourself. Servicing a bike like that is easy enough you can teach yourself to do engine oil change and oil filter. Some people do computer analysis plug in checks theirselves it's something that never interested me so I did use kwaka dealer for that.
  9. OK funny guy I'm not the one vilifing you for being wrong just informing you I have had the fever and it's a virus.
  10. Well l'm not sure what your on about but after uncontrollable vomiting of blood and writhing with extreme aching pains I did die at the early stages and a paramedic guy who I still see about brought me back to life before they were able to electrocute me with those iron thingys. The funny thing was I remember vividly my wife shouting the first words I heard coming back she was shouting several times my name saying you can't leave me come back, come back. I replied apparently OK stop shouting I ain't going anywhere. ????
  11. His started it already. There's people rioting on the streets being arrested.
  12. Sounds a lot to me, can't you find a guy in your area that works on the side. I can get motorbike panels resprayed from 200 to 600 baht, tank repairs and re-spray 500 baht. You have to do your decals though if you want any.
  13. Yeah the OEM parts will cost more there are some single speedometer plug ins on Lazada probably on Shoppee too they look the same but range from 500 to 2000. So get the cheaper one and see if any good if not you ain't lost too much, or send it back.
  14. Yeah !! ???? Jokes apart that's what get people's back up who go through all the paperwork and process of doing the right thing.
  15. That's what got and forgot how to spell it. No. 2 to experience it and describe it is not nice.
  16. Well show her this post of mine. Your wife/partner doesn't realize what she has to do yet to get to England and when she does she will not be able to work right away the last I heard. I was told it is harder more than ever to get to stay and get to work in UK these days. When I eventually got my wife to England in 2003 it was dam hard enough then. My wife could only come to UK the first visit for 6 months then go back Thailand before applying again to stay for 2 years in which time she could not work or use UK govt free facilities. I had to show I had earnings enough to support and sponsership her and be responsible for her because my wife then did not have enough money to show she could support herself.
  17. If it's the lastest Gen 4 it is a good gun but there are older models on sale so I don't know. My one was from a gun shop selling on Lazada and on messenger he recommended the Gen 4 6499 baht. ????
  18. The Gamo is a spring gun •22 air-rifle and very accurate when I get the good quality pellets from a gun shop. I learnt my lesson by not buying cheap pellets on-line.
  19. The Tokyo Marui are certainly a quality Japanese made product copy of a Glock 17, you inject gas into the bb magazine holder. Can shoot accurate up to 25 metres using a recommended weight bb which are white. The gun can smash a bottle beer bottle at 10 metres using bb size ball bearings. I paid 6500 for it and get gas from Lazada to.
  20. Things are not going well in the war with Ukraine let's hope a settlement can be reached. On TV news they reported him saying the war will be over soon I can't see that somehow.
  21. You don't have to tell me I got Dengue in Sukhothai where I live and almost died. The doctor said I was lucky because I had contracted Dengue2 the worse strain apparently but he said one good thing is you have immunity because you survived. ???? I would say it was the most nastiest virus experienced I have ever had in my life.
  22. From Lazada I bought a Tokyo Marui Glock 17 Gen 4 has 350 fps power good fun had at target shooting. My BIL bought an air-rifle for me in Pattaya a Spanish Gamo 1000 fps single load spring-gun I target shoot cans and metal flap type targets I made myself saves having go backwards and forwards up to 900 metres.
  23. Most people that don't have a yellow book change passport numbers when they renew their Thai DL. The policemam obviously is not aware of that. If he ask to see your passport the old passport number is in the new passport. Just another fuss only nowt.
  24. I would say did OP see the incident or just the kids riding by at the time. Of course westerners seem to care more but this is not the west which is forgotten by many staying here constantly.
