  1. I think you miss the point in general road aquaplaining conditions 4WD or AWD has a great advantage over 2WD.
  2. Yeah as I always say I think Toyota's trucks are a lot tougher that some people think, when do terrorist put into a Toyota service station to get there's serviced. ????????
  3. Just another incident that happens around some Thai men, lucky he had a gun or it would be the usual 4 on to 1.
  4. I had never drove car like trucks like they have in Thailand, when I got the Vigo 4x4 auto I found the back end so unstable put it in 4W it was a different truck. I was told you should not used on hard pavement so I said what about slippery wet pavement oh no, what's the point of that. I lost the back going Maesot on a bend where water and mud had come across the road and down the side of the road backwards both feet hard on the brakes, so much for ABS going backwards ????. Damaged rear hitting a tree so when I got the truck back from repairs I drove it in 4x4 all the time except in a town going slow or turning into a garage. I drove in 4W for 5 years like that and when I sold it the auto box shown no signs of fault it was working the same as new.
  5. Ghost town. Getting back to pre pandemic I think that will take sometime but who knows.
  6. Our village at historical park has loads of people coming back, there more and more coming week after week and getting much busier now. I can see August being busy.
  7. History :- Old Sukhothai City where I live is where Siam first began as a country. New Sukhothai city is the main town of the province of today.
  8. If it was my vehicle with full synthetic oil doing high kilometers on mostly highway cruise motoring I'd change every 20,000 kilos and change the oil filter at 10,000 and top up loss from removing filter. Driving town work start stopping I would change at 15,000 k.
  9. Why the difference between Norway or Thailand may I ask. ?
  10. Depending on what engine he has he can safely go 15,000 miles ( 24,000 kilo's) on full synthetic oil before changing.
  11. Yeah if I forget and go past the due date I give my wife the money and she can pay by pea phone app.
  12. Water and Electric in Sukhothai province can't be paid in 7-11 after the due date.
  13. Neither do I because you can't pay it in 7-11 after that date. ????
  14. It would be good to send Toyota's genuine own oil to them to find out which ExxonMobil it is. ????????
  15. Yes you go right the bottom of the page and there's an option box to click in.
  16. Not talking silly kilos a car nowadays in UK travelling 10.000 miles to 15,000 miles is considered average mileage. A car with 100,000 miles on it in good condition will still have a lot life in the engine. 20 years ago we had a 2•0 ltr Cavalier auto which we kept as a spare car with 220,000 miles on it and still going sweet.
  17. AWD is a good thing especially in the wet.
  18. That's right but still cheap. ????
  19. Apologies yes Red Lion because of pandemic not be there for ages going in October when the family starts to come over again.
  20. Packaging is the thing Toyota just the same as say Volvo they get there parts from many places China included even some the steel they use is Chinese. There are 4 Toyota plants in China. They get a lot of stuff from America too.
  21. You could keep them up to 10 years if there's no cracking on the side walls.
  22. The only proper pub like places I liked apart from some in Pattaya is in CM the Red House the only one I go to in New Sukhothai is a bar the Chopper Bar, never found what I would call a pub in New Sukhothai.
