  10. I don't have a close minded vindictive nature so obviously I don't try to judge others, it would make me a hypocrite.
  11. Well fixed deposit you leave in the bank is separate from Thai credit card, sounds like a debit card set up to me as it's your money supporting it not the banks. Thai banks are a joke.
  12. Yes my Visa card with UK bank is a credit card and you borrow their money from it. If you have to deposit money to get a card in Thailand I'd said its just a debit card at your own expense. On purchasing I only get charged an exchange rate charge which is small. I pay in full every month with D.D. so no other charges occur.
  13. Only buy fuel and stuff from Lazada the extra cost is nowt for the convenience.
  14. There has been progress Siam become known as Thailand for the second time some years back. ????
  15. I don't go cinema, and I have noticed the lack of respect for the royal family over the years seems to be going same way as UK. I will always have respect as a matter of course because that's the way I was brought up.
  16. What about it the same in many countries around the world. All I see is so called democracy at loggerheads already in Thailand as always it's the rich people that run the country not so much the ordinary voting people. As for education my son has done very well after leaving Uni, his buying a condo in Bangkok and runs a business with a partner serving TV companies all done while the army guy was prime mister.
