My mate has a vehicle with a Phitsanulok number plate but lives in Sukhothai. Address of where the vehicle is kept should be in the green or blue book when you get, the plate number can stay.

You an keep Bangkok plates if you want when you get them and change to your province plates if you want to. The address in the book will stay as your home address whatever plates you have.
