I will never own a Tesla, my middle son has bought one for his wife in Uk. She loves it and doesn't mind that the only place your allowed to use auto car self drive in UK is in a car park or supermarket carpark or private land. She comes out the supermarket entrance and telephones her car where it's parked and the car leaves and come to her where she is with the shopping trolley how cool is that. As my son says no need for whooing its a Knicker dropper. ????

And like most people say it's automatic but you have to be there, then Tesla came along. ????

Downshifting is just as easy it's when and how it's done, for sure you cannot bang it down too quick like you can manually.

Your can change gears up and down on many manual motorbikes without using the clutch it just takes bit of practice. Obviously pull clutch lever in when stopping. ????

With respect l wouldn't suggest your family was. My experience is I have ex-family in Sunderland that have been on social all their life, still worked on the black and odd job when it suited them. Single mums in the south playing the system all easy done. That's just 2 examples of the uses of the UK social services.
