  1. The person who charges first usually has right of way, No one obeys the traffic rules, It also depends on the size of your vehicle.

i know all this ,i asked a simple question ,is it priority of the right or the left ?

It is one of the most important things in countries where there is a big lack of road signs.

If a judge asks you why you took priority and caused an accident ,and you answer "my car was the biggest" or "i drove faster"

or "i was in a hurry" .........you wont be laughing then .

So i wonder how many jokes i have to read, before i have a right answer?

Why would a judge be asking questions ?

  2. Saw your today in Soi Khao Noi Stefan. that orange is loud !!!

If anyone is interested in a 2.2/6 speed manual Hi Rider mine is going back together next week with a brand new long engine and I have been offered Bt.560,000 as a trade-in (with standard 17 alloy wheels) on a new vehicle. I do not care who gives me the monies (trade or private sale) so if your interested.........

  3. Yep. sick of the police harassment and extortion. they tried it on for Bt.2000 on saturday because the bike is red in the book.

Bike is in bit's again and it will be red by the weekend for a run to Baen Saeng.

180k is high but with more than 250k in the bike the price has to start somewhere.

If it sells the monies will be going towards a Yamaha Bolt.

  4. Nongprue Moo 10 I think, there is a Moo map in the municipality offices.

You're still not making it clear as to what your point is. So what if South Pattaya Walking street is in Tambon Nongprue the area is administered and policed by Pattaya City hall and Pattaya Police. The so called darkside is not administered by Pattaya City Hall or policed by Pattaya Police. It is a whole different area administered and policed by Nongprue district offices and Nongprue Police. The Darkside is NOT Pattaya, East or otherwise it is Nongprue.

False. Pattaya District police are always on the darkside stopping traffic.

Last time I called into Pattaya Police Station on Beach Road they said their jurisdiction ended at Sukhumvit highway.

I think that will be more to do with the highway police rather than jurisdiction.

  6. Stevenl, let the 2 Fordies Battle it out. Dont forget someone thought the Ford to be the best of all trucks here.. Funcat I. Spoonman. 0 at half time.biggrin.png .

I dont give a shit if funcat was 11tybillion and me zero. the simple fact remains these vehicles (same as every other vehicle on the road) has problems, some expensive some not. some covered by warranty most not. All that I have heard about I have listed. take that anyway you want because I just know you will twist it to suit your own feeble mind.

As for your smart comment about the best truck, I bought one because we modify them (40,000 over the past 7 years) so by getting in early and owning one I get all the developmental fruit that comes out of the business I work for.

  7. Just google Mazda BT 50 problems. Here is one link to gearbox problem.

    http://www.productreview.com.au/r/mazda-bt-50-2006-present/186921.html

    That link dates from 2011

A different truck entirely. The current model was launched in 2012?

    Crossover from J97 to P375 was 2011.

There are some happy owners of New Rangers and BT-50's,that must count for something IMO.....I'm personally very happy with mine, maybe because there is nothing better around ?!!...and the service in CM is no worse than Toyota's(and I've owned one HiLux before,so I know)....so,unless there is something serious to report, please stop this ridiculous crusade....those dealerships are run buy people(!) and that's what makes a difference...they can do a good job...or they can just be a....well,you name it whistling.gif

Did you bother to read post #21 were I stated of all the problem I have heard about they only make up for a tiny percentage of vehicles sold. ?

But hey if you want to bury your head in the sand and continue on in the belief the vehicles are perfect and nothing goes wrong well then more power to you.

  8. Have it shipped to a friend back home, get them to unpack it, dent and scrape paint a little overspray to make it look used and then ship it to you in Thailand cheapest postal service that has tracking, maybe EMS.

This may avoid a hefty import duty. But keep the receipt so at least you've got a ceiling on the actual value if you do need to argue their inflated assessment down.

There are also commercial reshipping services, service like this is also part of the menu at a Mailbox ETC maildrop. . .

Given it would be classed as dangerous it may need to come via sea freight.

  9. "HT Coil and CDI primary coil", I am not familiar with this arrangement, do many bikes have this setup? I have a 30 year old 400 V-twin Honda and have high rpm misfire problems, changed both HT coils and all 4 HT leads and plugs, but nothing makes any difference. Don't have the tacho working but would guess it happens about 5000rpm, under load.

Sorry this is a little off-topic but would appreciate any help.

Sorry it should say low speed coil not CDI primary. it is part of the magneto that feeds the CDI. to fix I need to send the whole stator away to be rewound.

How bad is your miss fire ?, could it possibly be fuel related ?

  10. .Well the electric gremlins have decided to move so the bike is sitting at the moment.

Multi meter tells me that both the HT Coil and CDI primary coil are dubious, bike is basically un-rideable above 3000rpm as it breaking down bad.

Got a new CDI/HT coil/Rectifier coming from the UK so hopefully that sorts it, if not it's gunna be an exxy re-wind of the stator that I cannot get done locally.

Anyways always one to tinker I found a set of bar risers locaaly for <deleted> all so given I was not comfortable with the riding position (straight bars) and the angle of the clutch cable entry I slapped em on. Feels a heap more comfy sitting in my shed making Brrm Brmm Brmm noises.

Also got bored at work today so did a quickie drawing and cut out a new Tacho mount. Tachplate_zps20ae4094.jpg

  11. I take it that the luber injects some sort of oil into the propane gas stream - correct ?

Wonder what they are lubricating ?

Only thing I can think of would be fuel injector cleaner - keeps deposits from forming on the back side of intake valves and keeps combustion chamber clean.

I use this in my FI vehicles and it works well - never been a big fan of additives but have seen first hand that this does work.

    Upper Cylinder Lubricant.

    Have a read here http://www.flashlube.com/en/products/valve-saver-fluid.html
