  1. Seeing as though you seem to have an agenda to nit pick I will clarify my #4 post and say that in the 3rd quarter of 2004 the engine's fitted to both the DMAX and COLORADO changed to common rail configuration.

    Are you happy now ?

No agenda on nitpicking there, but you now say something completely different as in your previous post.

May it be that you have an agenda to be always right ?

    This is what you said earlier ;

the colorado 3.0 engine changed late 2004 to the commonrail. it is the better engine.

are your eyes painted on or something.

"it is the better engine" is in reference to the pre 3rd quarter 2004 engine that is not common-rail.

Well I did some research after your offending remarks, and I found out that the Colorado was launched in the first quarter of 2004 WITH the common rail 4JJ1-TC engine from the first day, while the D-max that was upgraded from the 4JH1-T engine to the new engine third quarter 2004 to be in compliance with the Colorado .

So in fact ALL Colorado's are common rail, while the D-max prior to the third quarter 2004 was non common rail.

    Google is your friend.

Below is a picture of the engine in my June 2004 built Colorado.

I do not need google when I owned an actual vehicle.

  2. But post #9 says particular the same as post #4, so that post must also be incorrect then.

    Ooops, that's your post.

  3. both are exacty the same cars, exept the frontgril and the badges. So, it doesn't matter which one you'll get. It's the same!

    See post #9.

    Only 1 can be true.

For the model age (04 to 08) that the OP is looking at post #9 is not correct.

But post #9 says particular the same as post #4, so that post must also be incorrect then.

  4. lol at travelling @ 180km/h and you think the whole vehicle is crap because they brakes did not perform all that good.

"Did not perform all that good"? They completely faded away to nothing you prick !

And I did not say the whole vehicle was crap - only the suspension, the brakes and an under performing engine.

what else do you expect you retard traveling at those speeds. did you think it would stop as though it was an E-stop @ 70km/h ?

  5. The biggest and most noticeable differences between the Captiva & the likes of the Fortuna and the Trailblazer is the suspension and the brakes. The latter two are built on pick- up chassis that means crap rear suspension and only have drums on the rear brakes. The Captiva rides and handles as a proper SUV should. Yes it's expensive, but you pay for what you get. I've had an LTZ AWD for 4 years now, bought new. Properly serviced at the correct intervals and has never given me a second's problems. The TC diesel ( only 2 liters) is responsive and fast. I've had mine doing close to 200 klicks and could still hear that missed cord on Stairway to Heaven on the supplied hifi. The GPS works like dream. Had it off-road up by the Loa border with no problems at all. Personally however I would have liked a bigger more powerful petrol engine, but at the time of purchase the top of the range model only came as a diesel. I anticipate keeping it for a few years more.

I think you should educate yourself a bit more on the fortuner and Trailblazer before you comment on them as you clearly have no idea what you are talking about at the moment.

  6. Iam sure I can survive the afternoon of the 14th with no beer. good thing actually as I'll be on the bike. Saying that the ban is on selling alcohol not consuming it.

True enough .. just informing ..

If you take your own make sure you keep the receipt biggrin.png

Sent from my XT1032 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

nothing to stop them selling you tokens that can be redeeemed for a can of beer.

  7. Anyone who is actually look for assistance from the police in this country is in need of counseling. Last month my daughter had her motorbike stolen in Ari and when she went to the local station in Saphan Kwai they denied all knowledge. They told her she could look round the cage where they keep the bikes. No sign of her bike however , in the corner there is a tenement block for police housing and she ran across the yard against the wishes of the attending officer who had told her that the vehicles she could see in that area all belonged to officers residing in the tenement. Low and behold ,there was her 11 month old Honda with the numberplate and tax disc removed. All her personal belongings were also gone along with her helmet and there was a police document and two brass knuckle dusters in her seat box. which did not belong to her. These bastards had stolen the bike themselves and now they would do everything thing they could to protect their own. We had to get the log book and come back before they would release the bike.

End of story as no mater what you do nothing will happen. She was luck to get the dam thing back.

Tax disc in Thailand on a motorcycle ? Really ?

Sure about that ? really ? You have a tax disc on a bike in Thailand?

A police document and 2 x brass knuckles left in the bikes storage under the seat ?

Your story has more holes than a fishing net.

Police had stolen the bike ? and taken it to a parking area in view from a recovered compound ?

Where a teenage girl could easily find it with a little look about.

Your daughter went a police station to report a lost bike and the police denied it?

The police station denied the bike was stolen ? but it was hidden in a police parking area ?

Bikes have log books in Thailand ? do they ? thought they had a single registration paper / slip thats a one off.

I smell BS and attention seeker

You should refrain from commenting on something you clearly have no idea about because not only do motorcyles have tax discs they also have a registration book....it is green.

As for the rest of the story Iam surprised that the girlie was able to ID her 11 month old scooter because unless it was customized in some way it would have looked like any other Honda of that model, age and colour.
