bill goes to the restaurant owner and not the staff. Well, he may use it to pay the staff but it is not over and above there

You say generally all diesel fuel's contain a % of palm oil how is this the case unless it's added and then it would be bio diesel.

I buy diesel from Shell and Ptt which does not contain palm oil. So are you referring to bio diesel?

The mention of B4/B5/B7 diesel would suggest that it is bio diesel.

Some people apparently can't read very well. I have no problem waiting the 45 miniutes in a cue. However, before I took a number and got in the cue I asked the girl if I could get a replacement card with my old number as I had lost it. As I stated, she said no problem just take a number.

Nup definitely not the same, see if the OP first asked for a replacement sim the girl would have told him to go an report it to the police rather than stand in the cue as he did to get a new sim card.

If the house worth more than 800 000 Baht then you can get everything in your name if others agree and then pay up. Remember in your name and not even in your wife name. Be always little alert.

The ignorant bank workers think that a WP is the only way to open an account. I've had to educate several workers at several different banks that what

their bank requires is a non-immigrant visa, which happens to be obtained by the foreigner by EITHER by Work, or Marrriage to Thai national, or Retirement.

Simply clarify that to them, slowly, and remind them that you are aware that they do not understand their bank's requirement, and ask them to get the bank manager.

Usually, they come back by themselves and open the account.

FWIW I have an account with UOB and as mentioned by another poster the first thing they asked for is a work permit.

To the OP, I do not understand your issue with the cue. You first asked about getting a new sim and was told to cue but when you got to the front of the cue asked for a replacement sim for your lost one....

Seems to me the problem was yours and not that of the poor telewiz person.

As per others suggestions, register your sim and getting a replacement is easy, ive done it about 5 times now.

Anyone having any experience with a credit card from the Bangkok Bank using a deposit account. I am waiting already more than six weeks for this card after opening a deposit account. I can't speak for Bangkok Bank but my Kasikorn Credit Card took 5 weeks to arrive.

The shortfall was 800,000 thb. The house was in a poor state and sold for 1.2m thb. All the fees, extra intrest made the shortfall add up to this amount. My wifes ex-husband had told her that if he goes to work the bank will automatically take 30% of his salary- not sure if thats true though or just usual thai bs. Getting back to the original point though, i just want to be sure my wife can move freely in and out of thailand on her british passport? I' ve even thought about going to the thai embassy and applying for a three month visa for her. Surely if theres going to be a problem at immigration at least we will know about it.
