A Jpeg file can contain a virus.

Truth

A JPEG is a file can get infected. However, in order to activate the virus, the file must be run. As the JPEG file is an image file, it will not be executed as long as the image is not processed by any other type of program.

Hence, if the image is executed by a program like a library or a database, the system can get infected.

ok......well then is there a scanner that would go thru a DVD of images and scan which ones have this "infection" ?

just wondering how safe graphic files are that you download or from DVDs at Pantip etc

and if it possible to get a virus what is the best way to scan a DVD full of images ?

I am mostly looking for Graphic files to use with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

I sent a parcel surface mail from BKK to the USA , I think it was 12 to 15kg

there are many high seasons ,

the airlines work on butts in seats , and people want to fly when they have holiday time , summer in Europe and around Christmas / New Years

your destination may be good or bad at that time of year but people will still go because they have time off or the kids are out of school

How much luggage, if only a little then the fly to Hong Kong etc and take Air asia etc might work

if you have too much luggage that will add $$$$$$ to the cost

How much time do you have ? You might fly to Malaysia etc and take a bus/ train to Thailand

Or just suck it up as it is High season and even getting a regular seat is not easy.....

I think it is easier to move Victory Monument maybe to the Makkasan area !

but really you need a BTS stop and lots of local buses , Makkasan does not have that ,

why not just clean up the mess, get rid of the "mafia" or Police or whoever is taking Tea money , limit the number of Minivans , make sure they have licenses and insurance , Safety inspect the vans , GPS track the vans too with the driver having to sign in when they leave so you know who is driving ,

History is full of good intentions gone wrong due to unintended consequences that simply were not considered or known when introduced. Sometimes the damage was not identified for several years after.

History is also filled with many success's that doubled yields or helped with drought resistant crops,

many less starving people because of this , but maybe this was an unintended consequences that increased the worlds population and brought more problems

I do not think I have seen a shop selling used or rebuilt sewing machines , and then I have to find the rarer chain stitch embroidery machines .....

I would think at one time there were sweat shops that did embroidery work , most is now done by computer controled machines that you see at Boe Bae etc .....

In all my walking around I have not seen a shop displaying shirts or jackets that were not computer done ! ..... Maybe a lost art !

, they are a Cornely of France design ,

they were made by Singer in many countries and Cornely has made them for 100 years, plus many other companies made them too

some are electric and some are foot powered

I know there are computer powered machines , but we would like to get a couple of these to do more "art" type of work

or if you know of any shops that do this type of work as they will know where to buy the machines and spare parts for them

I tried grab taxi , yes you can see the taxi as it comes to you but my guy sat at Lumpini waiting for a better share , the 2nd guy calls and asks how much will I pay ? The 3rd guy was 5 miles away and said 30 minutes at 6am.....

Grab taxi does not own anything and does not hire the taxi drivers , so they really do not have any control over them.

you can be stuck on the side of the road waiting for them as 20 taxis drive by ,

better to get someone local and hope he shows up ! Then just go out in the street and pay a little too much since that will only be 100 to 200 baht extra anyway......
