  1. Paypal account is in a Thai name / address ./ Id card , same name etc as Ebay account

will they get in any trouble if they accept too much $$$ into the Paypal account ?

it is not that much by western standards , lets say $10,000 US in a year

Will Paypal shut it down , restrict it etc ?

We would like to try and sell higher priced items , but if that works we could hit $1000 a month,

And we all know how Paypal seems to run by its own rules and freeze your account for breaking rules you were never told about !

    thanks for your ideas

  2. I think the train is better than the bus , which is better than the minibus

At least with the train you normally do not have someone driving towards you on the wrong side of the road with no lights !

and yes flying is even better if you book the cheaper flights months before !

but you cannot expect 1st world service in 3rd class !

And I quess another question is , what phone carrier has the best service out in the middle of no where on the train ?

We do need to put photos up on twitter wherever we are !

  3. Can you post some "day trips" leaving early 6-7-8am and getting back to BKK around 8pm ,

staying a few hours in a decent size town to check it out.....

and if there is a train station like Bang Sue that you can get close to by BTS -MRT ?

I would rather spend time looking at fields than the back of buildings crawling thru BKK

Hello viewer! How about Nakhon Pathom? 2 hours approx out of town. Most of the trains stop in Bang Sue or you have trains going places out of Wongwian Yai & Thonburi Railway Station ( Bangkok Noi ) Nakhon Pathom is a fab place! I will post some info and pics soon F.J

Sounds good , can you post the early times they leave BKK area and the last few trains returning ?

and some pics when you can

  6.

Where in Bangrak and Chinatown exactly? Any specific locations/times?

    Chinatown is not that easy......

go to the main "Gold" street Yarawat , on the left side are many alleys / streets full of stuff......

and they there are a 2nd floor or more ( I never went upstairs)

These alleys extend all the way to the Indian area

There is also an area for tools , cheap electronics and more,

You could be around there for days !

  7. Go get international calling card for say 500 baht then pickup phone dial number on card follow the prompts make your call when done hang up phone. Rates are cheap.

but does your mobile carrier also charge you for minutes to use the "cheap" calling from a phone card ?

  8.

If i was a teacher i wouldn't let the pupils / students use mobile phones / pads in the classroom .

Yes that is the rule, but I teach math and physics and the calculations can get intense, so I allow them to use the calculators in their mobile devices.

let them buy a calculator and stash the phones ,

you made your own problem letting them use the phones to begin with.......

  9. My understanding is there isn't much drug cartel violence in Puerto Vallarta. There are a number of places not heavily effected and some very effected.

We were in a private house in Mexico city years ago when some "Cops" searched the place for drugs........and the Mom worked for the Puerto Vallarta government....

but like everywhere it is very isolated , makes good news , much the same as BKK
