  1. find a Dutch VW forum , they have more LPG cars on the road % wise then most other Euro countries

there the problem was getting the fuel warm enough in winter , not a problem in Thailand

also most cars can use stainless steel valves with less chance of burning one

Let us know what you find out,,,,,

  2. Hi

I would like to buy a dead bolt set up for the side door and rear door of my van

something that has an electric solinoid that pushs a rod thru the other door,

I am thinking of something like this

    http://www.sprintervanequipment.com/CargoLockElectronicDeadBoltLock.aspx

I could just have a shop copy what is on the link , but hope to find one ready made that I can buy more later ,

or maybe a better idea :)

it does not have to be 12v , just needs to be mostly invisible to the public and not just a big ugly padlock across the door

    thanks for your ideas

  3. Can you use an iPhone as a WiFi hotspot without jail breaking it ? if so how ?

I have done it thru settings on my Android phone so I know that works,

And do any of the carriers care how you use the data you are paying for ?

in the USA they want you to pay extra if you use your phone as a Hotspot

I have both phones and actually like the Nexus 4 more but need to use the iPhone for a few apps and facetime

    thanks for your help....

  4. I am Thai has lived in U.S.A for more than half of my life and I used to live in two countries in western Europe for some years. I found that living in Europe is boring and lonely. I heard and read forums from many Thai women who live in European countries, complained of cold weather, loneliness lack of outgoing social lifestyle which they used to have in Thailand. Nevertheless they still want to move abroad but after they have experienced the loneliness and the long European winter, they yearn to visit Thailand and they often comes up with an excuse to visit Thailand. Some Thai wives makes trips to Thailand every winter and stay in Thailand for six months.

If they have a choice they would rather live in Thailand and work to earn own money. They chose to live with a foreigner husband in his country because at first they wanted to go live abroad until afterwards... Your wife could be one of those burned out Thai wives who slowly has enough of predictable routine lifestyle in Europe. If she has an outgoing personality the loneliness would catch up with her after having lived in a secluded lifestyle in Europe. She misses outgoing social lifestyle like she used to have. This problem is one of a major factor that could break up the family.

A family illness is a good excuse to go visit Thailand indefinitely.

P.S. excuse me if there is any typos, I typed and submitted my comment.

Hi....thanks for posting here as you give a viewpoint most of us never see ,

I can see Thais moving to a large USA city as there are many other Thais to socialize with , but they would go crazy living alone with no other Thais to talk to and no Thai FOOD,

it is how most grew up, all living in one or 2 rooms , maybe 3 generations

I do not know how the family is in Thailand , but you might want to set them up with a computer / internet and webcam so they can stay in touch on Skype for cheap,

I know how lonely I get sometimes being in Europe by myself and only speaking English , and I have a return ticket to go back home in a few weeks !

  5. Glad to see you are going to stay in Korea and make some $$$$

    try and save it !

like like a poor guy in Korea and save your money for retirement and an few trips to Thailand ,

buy your airline ticket when there is a big sale as it can save you 50% , and in Thailand spend like a poor guy....

anywhere in the world you will have lots of "friends" if you throw money around ,

see who likes you when you are just an average Joe :)

  6. look at Thai Post website

put in 999 grams and USA to search prices

then look at #17 or #18 and you will see small packet SAL

the post office never finds this "legal" rate as it is way down the page , so print it out , or put on smartphone in Thai

small packet needs to be under 2kg and is not to all countries.

we used it last week for a packages to USA and Japan,

and no this is not my "find" it was mentioned in a thread a few months ago about selling online
