  1. OK: gym membership card. But now we need 10 posts assuring us that it isn't really necessary for you to be allowed to work out in your gym.
  2. Or merely the low "In IQ" and EQ of the poster himself. Even if the language of the post is simple and clear, if grammatically incorrect, the logic and rationale aren't. Readers can't understand how the poster arrived at such a cynical, negative, curmudgeonly, stereotypical, ultimately ignorant viewpoint. It's therefore confusing, not to mention tiresome.
  3. Yes, what the "source" said was not true. Therefore, as I pointed out, it lacks credibility. Accordingly, it's not a reliable source about the pink cards, as the poster had suggested.
  4. Wrong assumption. No one is trying to use a pink ID card to pass as a Thai. More time wasting.
  5. No. No. Most don't speak Thai and don't have a WP. Neither have been verified to get the Thai price, whereas the pink ID has. Not always, but often.
  6. Funny you thought of Kamagra immediately. :) Didn't cross my mind, however. As Paul Newman famously said, "Why go out for a hamburger when you have steak at home?" You don't have a clue, really. I have to laugh.
  7. I suspect it favors Chrome or at least Chrome-based browsers. I use an almost pristine (free of extensions, notably ad blockers) Google Chrome to do my online reports, and they've always been approved in timely fashion.
  8. Absolutely, especially here. Most of our UK members grew up not in council estates, as may appear obvious to the uninformed, but in fact on large landed estates. Several evidently appear with some regularity on The Sunday Times Rich List. So we may always expect the word luxury in a Thai news item to receive a round of sneers, and it usually does.
  9. Ooh! Now that would be juicy. Might have achieved that ideal of a short but happy life ending with a smile on his face during a bonk as promoted by our ANF Life Coaches. Never heard of any smiles yet, though. Yeah, keep the thread going another 5 pages. We can always hope. Meanwhile, watch your dosage.
  10. The bad reviews mostly reflect disappointment with pre-conceived expectations, some naive. Rutnin is a busy place. Expect waiting times from the start. The exam is more thorough than the usual and takes place in stages. It's not a speedy process. It's not cheap, but reasonably priced. If you're used to BPH, it'll be affordable. :)
  11. Me, too, some years ago. World class.
  12. https://support.grammarly.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000091552-How-to-install-the-Grammarly-browser-extension Or you first compose in Word or LibreOffice Writer, then paste into your AN post.
  13. Lacks credibility. For the record, you are supposed to carry your passport at all times, and photocopies aren't accepted.
  14. Already addressed several times. Enough with the time-wasting. Yes, they are. Lots of farang have one, including me. We use them. No, you just made that up as a self-appointed expert. Pattaya has the most rules of them all, 'cause of all the riff-raff washed up on this lovely city. The rules are there to be certain your identity is verified, not from any imagined anti-farang purpose. The staff at City Hall were all polite and friendly to me, consistent with professionalism. I joked around with the ladies quite a bit and gave one my phone number. I didn't find it terribly onerous to meet the various requirements. Though I needed to go to BKK to get a certified copy of my passport, I found ways to enjoy myself in BKK, as I suspect anyone can. Pattaya translation office did the translation and got it stamped by MFA. Otherwise, I had all the papers I needed. Rounded up a couple of witnesses from my condo, a friend's Thai wife and a maid, and we had a pleasant visit to City Hall together, We all got to meet the Mayor and his capos in his swank office overlooking North Pattaya Rd. Very personable, the Mayor. I enjoyed giving gifts to my witnesses, received smiles all around. Wai'd the office staff and saluted Security with a smile on the way out. Done & dusted, piece o' cake. All the whinging around here is astonishing. Must be Brits, mostly.
  15. I do, and understand perfectly. I'd observe that it must be uncomfortable riding your scooter with your sphincter puckered with worry that someone is contemplating getting a pink card. Suggest you get over it and ride more comfortably. Very bright and has posted the most informative content in this thread. Since you don't read the posts, owing to your obsessive agenda, then you wouldn't know about any waffling, now would you? Meanwhile, the profundity of your posts rises to this level:
  16. I don't think so. Thais normally refer to iPhones or Macs, not Apples.
  17. Everyone accepts that already and ALWAYS has. Nobody has ever said it's necessary. Just accept that rather than arguing against a straw man. You always soil your knickers when someone asks about getting one, however. Why's that?
  18. But you're just SO obsessed with defending your supposed lack of interest constantly, in post after post, on these pink card threads, as if to convince yourself. All that desperation, for what? And here you've resorted to pretending it's all about saving a few baht, in contradiction to many testimonials about the using the yb and pink card for convenience. Such a waste of time, since nobody cares, and you have so much else of importance to do, riding around Pattaya on your scooter. Why not give it up for greater peace of mind while you're, you know, getting out and about?
  19. Can't have those in Pattaya. Farang would use for short-times to avoid paying for a room.
  20. That wasn't the point I was addressing, however. RAM chips are so standard nowadays it's highly unlikely you'll ever use that warranty, so not worth paying for. The off brands/generics on Aliexpress also have warranties. Moreover, most people find RAM so cheap that it's not even worth going through a claim. One of my cheap generic sticks been runnin' fine for 5 years, others 3 years. I'd buy again. I've also bought 4 used CPUs from Aliexpress that've been great. Couple years ago I advised a poster here to buy a used FX-8350 instead of a new computer. SHOCK. We had the usual screams. He finally bought a FX-6300 and was happy, no complaints since then. RAM sticks I bought had good ratings from reviewers on Aliexpress. Those Russians are tough, too. Otherwise, you may find a lot of fear-mongering, as you have a tendency to indulge, and bigotry about buying Chinese, common on the forum. I'm old enough to remember all the sneers about Made in Japan, and VW Beetles, aren't you? :) Anyway, you asked for opinions, now didn't you, and you got mine.
  21. Why not give up this constant time-wasting sniping? I thought you have plenty to do buzzing around Pattaya on your scooter, but here you are again. If it's so life-threatening, why not just man up and get one yourself?
  22. Good point, if the poster hasn't been TOO annoying. Of course, good posts and posters should be encouraged with a positive emoji, so I hit a lot of those.
  23. Yes, you do. And looks like you gon' stay fed up. I rather like the reddit system of simple ups and downs. Here, you could filter out the ones getting the most up votes. :)
  24. Too often leads to useless time-wasting and endless bickering. No member here has ever changed his mind about anything. What he knows, he knows absolutely. So, if you can't think of a good laugh, or a correction of fact, hit the emoji.
