The woman looks like your typical battleaxe, who I guess got the surprise of her life. The fact that they had been coming to Thailand for such a long time and still decided to go toe to toe with the Thais in the way they did proves they learnt nothing from all their previous trips. As for the Thais they need to put their house in order! Be it these type of incidents or Koh Toi type murders, tourists lives seems to be viewed as highly expendable. A stupid move to try and get out of paying for drinks. If I tried to steal from Thais in this way I would expect the same treatment.

I really like the Thai style of getting a bill rather than having to pay for every single drink every single time you buy one like in pubs in other countries, where you have to wait at the bar to be served, then wait for the waiter to pour your drinks and then pay for your drinks and then have to wait again for your change.

If idiot farangs keep behaving like this it will ruin it for everyone. A couple of Canadian girls tried it in a go go a couple of weeks ago and I have personally seen it many times. Come on a holiday to Thailand and steal from the locals. Scummy.

Sometimes its a good idea to check bin after every drink, that way I don't lose count and there's less opportunity for Thais to take advantage of a drunk farang. I also always have plenty of change so they can't short change me.

policemen have no right to handcuff an injured person and throw him to the bed of a truck even if he is guilty.

what is he was dead on the back of the truck? Motorbike accidents are sly. you never know if it is serious or not as most die from internal trauma and hemorrhage. and this guy got a hit from his head!

i see riders woke up and walked home after an accident and die at home! due to high levels of adrenaline rush after an accident, you font feel the urgency or danger.

Ive thrown a few people out of my Taxi when I was in the trade but never an old age person. It was mainly wannabee gangsters and smack heads, though I once told a young woman to get out with her son who I later found out was blind. The reason he was blind was the woman was given a good kicking when she was pregnant which resulted in her son being born blind, and after spending 5 minutes in the car with this woman it was easy to see why this had happened as she was a total bitch! And if I could go back in time with hindsight I would do the same thing again.

I'm going to buy a harness when I move here, just in case. I will also fit hidden web cams that will upload to the internet at set times. I think these incidents are due to the size of Thai balconies and the amount of people murdered by Thais wanting their monies. If this wasn't the case then how come this sort of thing doesn't happen in Spain with the same frequency?

The connection is murder! and being in a country where the local populace looks on you as an ATM and that includes the Police force. As people keep telling me, always make sure you are worth more alive than dead.

I for one don't believe the sheer amount of people dying by falling from a great height as anything other then some Thas or maybe some of the dodgy Pattaya Farangs bumping them off for their cash.

There should be some sort of declaration that could be made that would say if I die and it looks like suicide then someones topped me. Personally I will be looking for a Bungalow or something 2 floors up max.
