  1. Lazada...I haven't tried either of them, just adding them to widen your search...but a motorcycle lift is on my wish list https://www.lazada.co.th/products/smart-mle1500-1-by-mcmach002-i4048262530.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.4.685b2d95kCyN4h https://www.lazada.co.th/products/smart-mlt500-6-by-mcmachinetools-i3967782175.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.6.685b2d95kCyN4h
  2. I had a rabies shot done at Bangkok hospital Hau Hin when I was passing thru a few months ago...about 2k, not much different from the price I got charged in Korat at the Catholic hospital there
  3. It's on the Triumph website... https://www.triumphmotorcycles.co.th/bikes/classic/speed-400
  4. RIP Kwasaki
  5. If they bump up the 800k retirement extension to 1.5m I'll probably switch to a marriage one as the two are getting closer and closer from the paperwork side
  6. Just been to immigration this morning to renew my retirement extension, they've added another requirement to the list...photo of you stood in front of your house with the house number showing ???? There are a few new forms to fill out, but the girl at the check desk will give you those and they can be filled in there easy enough. They've also added a line stating that the bankbook statement must be done on the same day as your application at immigration.
  7. They used to do that upstairs as well...thankfully I haven't had to do a 90 day report there in over two years (I do mine online now)
  8. It's meant to be coming from Ratchaprapha https://goo.gl/maps/RmZ1YZS2fMHkWxxh9
  9. The pipes they laid are about a meter in diameter (one in, and two out to the reservoirs)...the only way you can control flow is through pressure...the amount of pressure needed to move water through a meter diameter pipe is quite a lot, so every house nearest the pumping station would have its pipes explode. The pic below is of them laying the pipes in our road, there was one more added on top of the two you can see
  10. The pumps are only run when when the water levels in the reservoirs drop to a certain level...they are not designed to run constantly
  11. Because that's how it gets distributed throughout the island
  12. Yes it does go into a sump (header tank)...it is then pumped from the header tank to the reservoirs. The header tank and pumps are 500mtrs up the road from my house
  13. Check the cooling fan...not unheard of for them to fail
  14. Good chance today... https://weather.tmd.go.th/cmp.php
  15. Manufactures for the 2023 season... Aprilia Ducati GASGAS Honda Yamaha KTM The only guy who can ride the Honda is Marc...and it wouldn't surprise me if he jumped to Ducati if Honda can't deliver the bike he wants this season
  16. There was a Wave on BahtSold that had the complete front end out of a KX85, so I would guess just anything would fit. At 1:30min on the vid below he takes out a complete front end...I'm guessing it came from some place in Thailand. I watched his vids when I was considering doing the same. https://youtu.be/rOhL9f13chM?t=96 Might be worth giving these guys a shout... https://www.facebook.com/Kittiponk.Y2K
  17. Or change the front mudguard...
  18. Fair enough, I don't think either of us wants to hijack Chris's thread. But on a side note (nothing to do with sealant), not all punctures are catastrophic... I rode home 20km with a lump of rebar stuck in my rear tyre...
  19. It will work in tubed tyres, I actually have one of the ones shown in the vid (and yes I read up on it before I purchased the kit), but it's better to use it before you get a flat so that the tube failure that Chris experienced can't happen. For the riding that Chris does a tyre mousse would be good, but I very much doubt they do them in the size he requires.
  20. Hi Chris, maybe it's time to start running with some sealant in your tubes? A good vid by Fort Nine on the top three...
  21. The peak on my Fox is held on by magnets (fairly strong ones), so does come off quite easily (it's a safety thing)
  22. An Enduro style helmet is another option...you get plenty of air plus the protection of a full face. I wear shades with mine (Fox) and there's plenty of room on the sides for the sunglasses, something I haven't found very often with full face helmets.
