  1. ISS is closed for half-term and should reopen on the 18th, not sure about Windfield. On a side note, I heard yesterday that students at Panyadee and Oonrak were being tested
  2. They do a 750 version...and allegedly a 300cc version is on it's way This is the 750, The Honda X-ADV...
  3. Me thinks someone else got the 47mil...she would be living in a mansion with at least one Benz on the drive, not in an apartment with a rusty bicycle out front ????
  4. The above is from the UK NHS (National Health Service) https://www.nhs.uk/live-well/quit-smoking/using-e-cigarettes-to-stop-smoking/
  5. Honda ADV150 sounds like what you're looking for... https://powersports.honda.com/street/scooter/adv150/specifications
  6. Yes that's true, as soon as the first cases came to light they brought forward the half-term holiday by a couple of weeks
  7. Another 8 added today, so far these have all been primary school kids, no secondary kids tested positive as yet
  8. If they do have the TIS thingy stamp it's very well hidden coz I've never seen it ????
  9. The figures are for tourist related businesses, and from what I see driving around (I'm not including all the 7-11's and Family Marts that have shut) there are hardly any, no Safari Tours, bars, bike rentals...I live in the south of the island and you'd be hard pushed to find a restaurant that's open.
  10. I have no idea where they pull these figures from...in Samui I'd say the figure was closer to 15% open, 50% closed temporarily and 35% gone to the wall
  11. These were made by V&H and supplied to Triumph to sell under their own part number, and they are fully road legal...in fact you can run one of the new water cooled ones without any silencers at all and hardly notice the difference...95% of the sound deadening is done in the CAT which is between the headers and silencers...should you so happen to fit an X-CAT and run with V&H silencers you do get rather a nice sound...so I've been told ????
  12. It's probably still an offence, once written into the Gazette it stays there for time immemorial...it'll still be there once all the petrol in the world has been used up and people have forgotten what an internal combustion engine was ???? All three of my bike have non standard exhausts, and I've never had a problem with the rozzers or DLT...as to your point about and exhausts supplied by the manufacturer, my Triumph has a set of Vance & Hines supplied and fitted by Triumph (one of their accessories) when new that have a Triumph logo, but no TIS stamp...go figure ????
  13. I think I read somewhere that it had something to do with the lack of clarity of Thailand's figures ????...surely not ????
  14. It does not, it just requires the number you were given at the time of your first vaccination. On the form it was called your Tax Number (13 digit number)...on the app it's now called ID card number
  15. I'm guessing 'user error'...never had a problem with them (UK to Thailand)...normally the transfer to my account takes 10min max, the longest it ever took was 2 days and I was told at the time it would take 2 days
  16. From what I've been told there are no field hospitals here...only Hospitels, the main one being in Lamai.
  17. I changed jobs at 22 and things got 'busy' so didn't have the time to mess about like I used to...I also started doing Enduro's about this time so that helped keep me from being embedded in an Volvo...plus I had moved on from RD350's and was riding XS1100's by then ????...not for the faint hearted ????
  18. Pretty much my thoughts also...just because I passed my test it didn't stop me riding like a lunatic, 18 ~ 22 predominantly ????
  19. It's working now, put the number on your yellow appointment paper into the Tax ID slot. My original appointment was the 19th Sept...now it's the 18th
  20. 1/ Cable and lock...gives you the chance to lock it to something that doesn't move. But this is only a deterrent, if they want it, it's gone 2/ No you don't (I've done it twice)...but it does make the paperwork easier, during and after. 3/ Honda or Yam? Which has the best aftersales service where your at? Are there comparable models from both at 65k? Honda usually has the higher resale value and is my personal choice...just because ????
  21. No, the meters are the same...but the taxis run on perfumed unicorn farts ????
