Very strange that the passengers were flown home on cargo planes with no windows. Rumour has it that they are being taken to Area 51 to be anally inspected by the aliens who were captured there in the fifty's.

Thanks for sharing your experience. A pity more posters asking for advice did not report back their outcomes so a better picture could emerge of problem areas regarding visas etc.

Thaivisa has been painfully slow this morning.
It stops downloading at "Waiting for Google Analytical" Has done it maybe ten times now. One time was nearly 5 minutes.
This and the ads makes me think time to log off.

Looking at some DIY sites it seems putting interior paint on an exterior surface is a problem not the other way round.

Non-Thai account holders are also required to return to the original branch after renewing their passport in order to register the new passport number with the bank. I found that out by bitter experience when I last renewed my passport in 2013!
Kbank required me to change contact telephone number at head office or passbook issuing branch.

The whole flush valve is a self-contained compete assembly, appears it will come out as a compete unit - that's once I sort - out - how ????
Is it the type with the flush push handle in the middle of the top of the cistern? Drain the cistern shine a torch down to the bottom, find the two plastic clips, note which way it has to rotate. Grab the entire plastic body and rotate in the correct direction. You will have a seal assembly with a cross piece as shown previously There should be a screw in the centre, undo it. It will in all likelyhood be corroded. If it is you will need to cut the seal assembly. If needing a complete new assembly, measure the length of the overflow pipe as that determines the size. Watsada stocks all the generic sizes.

I purchased 2 W10 Keys from Lazada. I chose a higher priced version not the 78 baht ones. Maybe 2000 baht can't remember. Both working after 1 year.

These topics always make me think of what became of all the rental bikes in Pattaya. I left Pattaya in 1982 and rented (depending on mood) a 1980 Honda CB 750, a Honda VF400 or a Suzuki RM250.
Perhaps the poster should get out and about and try to track down something in Thailand.

Just been to Big C Rayong. Purchased 585 bahts worth of groceries with cash. Used a Big C membership card in my wife's name. Not asked for passport. Went to the bill paying desk and paid my TOT bill, not asked for passport.

Make sure when applying for your Laos evisa that you are on the .gov site not the .com site which charges a 45 dollar handling charge + the visa fee.
I had my visa on arrival form pre filled in and as you are stamped in to Laos when they issue you the visa I as was able to beat the evisa holders who have to queue through immigration.

Sorry for the wrong day info.
I spent 6 days in Savannakhet in a hotel popular with visa runners and they only had one runner checked ìn. Asking the manager how business was since the crackdown his reply was "barely surviving "

Passed Savannakhet consulate at 1000 am Tuesday only 2 people inside. This is supposed to be a busy day with visa run companies.

I don't want to be critical of the OP but when I renewed my UK passport at Trendy I thought it was a simple and courteous procedure. To blame Trendy for his shortcomings is a bit rich. Having to travel to Bangkok twice is the main drawback. As already mentioned if no booking you can not even get on the lift.

In a bar in Savannakhet in walks a biker dude. Leathers top to bottom pony tail big moustache. With him is a girl in jeans tee shirt. He has biked from Hanoi. She bikes in Laos. When they left he was riding a 130cc Detech she was on a R80 gs Paris Daker BMW.

I have just crossed border at Mukdahan. New immigration office on Thai side is operational. Curiously all bus passengers went through immigration having to show passport and were scanned. No exceptions. Consulate had zero people at 0920.

I mentioned in a previous thread that I was able to observe my details at immigration once when entering Thailand.
As soon as passport is inserted the screen shows your last visit details. In my case in was two entries showing exit from Thailand at Mukdahan and entry at Pho Nam Ron. IO scrolled back again and there was exit Thailand at Phu Nam Ron and enter at DMK. I had entered DMK on my old passport and left via Phu Nam Ron on a new passport and it was seamlessly recorded.
I would say that your chances on entering Thailand depends on how far back the IO scrolls on the computer.
