My online order for my 24 bottles of wine at Wine Connection went in at 10am, and it was delivered at 11am.
They'll be having a busy old day, mine went in at 10:30am, but it probably won't be until Tuesday they'll make it down to Hat Yai.
Beer supplies are fine, wife did a good job of keeping supply levels up during the ban.-

So Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin is saying the Thai police force are incapable, or can't be relied on, to enforce the existing laws.

Why are they not being treated in hospital?
They are, as it says in the other, now closed, thread:
"Among the six whose condition has worsened, one is a seven-month pregnant woman who was transferred to Songklanagarind Hospital in Hat Yai district, while five were taken to Hat Yai Hospital for treatment."

I thought Nakhon Si Thammarat was in the South where all the recent cases have been found .........LOL
It is, but it doesn't border Yala, Pattani or Narathiwat. The recent Songkhla cases are all within quarantine or immigration detention centres on the Malaysian border.

As you say Malaysia extended its Movement Control Order (MCO) from April 28th until 12th May. So the southern Thai border remains closed.
Under the MCO no foreign nationals can enter Malaysia except those with diplomatic passports, those who have Permanent Residence or those who are an “expatriate in an essential service”. Even then those that can enter are obliged to go into quarantine for 14 days at a centre designated by the government, and charged a minimum of RM150 per day for the privilege.
Whether they lift the restriction on May 12th or extend again is anyone's guess.

The government’s total income from alcohol sales amounted to 132.24 billion baht in 2019. That's 11 billion baht per month in lost tax revenues - a sobering thought.

I think you're missing the point, people are buying early because the government's U-turn could just U-turn again.
No one really knows what's going on.........
.............and neither does the government really.
