Finnish man accused by neighbours of insulting Thai people
jak2002003 replied to snoop1130's topic in Isaan News
Well, both sides are clearly in the wrong, lying, and behaved it a very inappropriate way. If the shop owner had a serious problem with the guy she should have called the police. The people that were involved in attacking the guy should be charged. It's not OK for a gang of people to physically attack and cause serious injuries to someone simply because they were upset by insults and 10 baht. -
You think the same as us. Many bad things here..but also fantastic experiences and people you can never find back home.

COVID-19 cases will probably rise after Songkran festival
jak2002003 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Here in CM I remember people would wear masks if they had a cold or flu to stop spreading it to other people..particularly in the supermarket, public transport or shopping centres. It was one of the things we liked about Thai people... -
OP, we are doing the sam after 15 years living here. The pollution this year was so bad in CM. But we are going to live in farangland half the year and Thailand the other half. Plan to do this a few years before we make the final decision of where to settle permanently.

Well..they keep wanting to ban obortions or reduce the number of weeks they are allowed, yet they are OK to sacrifice children's lives by not banning guns. Madness.

All completely irrelivent to the OPs question.

And this is helpful how? Would you rather op died of got long term problems from covid? Bell's palsy existed and is not that unusual even before covid vaccinations. OP, my friend had it and he recovered fine. It must be scary, but try to relax and take all the medications and that will improve your speed of recovery. ????

Indian national arrested for overstaying his visa by 1,200 days
jak2002003 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
But that would not benifit those in power who want total control of everybody. The world is our home. All these imaginary man made borders and countries are so old fashioned. It's time people had the freedom to go and stay where they wanted, and humans stopped acting like territorial troops of monkeys. -
Work-from-home order issued as Thai city tops world pollution table
jak2002003 replied to ozimoron's topic in Chiang Mai
This year, since covid seems to have been forgotten, is by far the worst I can remember in my 20 years of living in CM. It is so bad we have actually decided to leave. We are in the process of buying a place to live back in the UK. We will come back in the rainy season or early cool season, when the pollution has gone, then fly back to the UK each year. Flights are expensive now, and I don't like flying.... So can only see us doing this a few times before we give up on ever coming back to Thailand. I think a lot of expats will be doing the same. -

How about stopping eating too much? If they eat only carbs and do not exercise they will still loose weight of they do not eat enough calories. A fat person eating only one cup of rice and a slice a bread with sugar on top ever day will loose weight....ans that all carbs. Seriously though, why do people have to make their lives miserable on these 'latest best ever diets'? Just eat more healthy food and consume less calories.

Deport them back to China. They are not true asylum seekers. They are not a peraicuted race or culture / ethnic minority. They knew what they were doing was against the law in China and now expect a free pass to live in another country because they chose to form or join an illegal cult. No one forced them to be Christians. They should have thought about the consequences for their poor children. Anyway, if they truly believe in their religion they have nothing to worry about as their god will look after them.
