call prayer is 5 times a day for sunni muslims and 3 times for shia (they combine prayer sessions to make 3)

fridays are special muslim day. like sunday is to christians.

i like the sound of the call to prayer. reminds me that we are all different in some regards.

Meji from stocking at outlets to ex. date is about 2 weeks. Not sure what the others are. The 2 weeks does require some unknown additives, just to get kind of shelf life.

You are wrong , its 2 weeks alright , but you don't need additives , it's the pasteurization process that does it,

What is pasteurization?

You heat the milk to a specific temperature for a predefined length of time and then immediately cooling it after it is removed from the heat. This process slows spoilage due to microbial growth.

Meji is probably the best fresh milk you can buy in Thailand.

But the pasteurization process is different than in Europe , where most of the milk will last for up to 1 week only .

heat to 70 degrees for 16 seconds

then quickly cool to 4 degrees

just down the road was one of the thai/danish milk farms. beautiful looking cows, rolling green pastures. Not the issan buffalo scratching at the dirt image like some on here imagine. only 150km away from bangkok.

i just sat through a little show of the facility and they explained the processes of pasturisation and homoginisation and the use by date was 7 days after this process

I would like a moving barstool as soon as i get off the plane. i will drink my first beer while beeing wheeled to immigration. upon stamping my passport, the immigration official will hand me my passport and issue me my 2nd beer. The barstool will then take me on a magical mystery tour of thailand making me very informed on Thailand culture, language and my social standing whilst in this country.

this is all thats required of me during my stay.

I think there's a market for what dukes was/is trying to do. But the styling and location at emporium completely missed the mark. Just looked dark and un interesting stuck up the back of the food court.

My thinking is every country (that makes hamburgers) has different tastes and I didn't enjoy my meal (mushrooms and funny cheese don't belong, but beetroot, egg n pinapple and bacon do!)

Id love to see a place that does it all, pizza, burgers, hotdogs, giant roast beef sanwiches.

Me and the misses watch the series

'man v's food' and we both end up craving what's on tv.

Don't sign up for a big chunk of hours. Start small. Try a few schools. Don't listen to other people leaving one school for another (think grass is greener on the other side) make your own opinion. concentrate on learning thai, not on the best way to learn thai.

Realise its a long journey.
