Yeah sure, my fillings fell out after a few months. Dentist at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital. The next dentist was even worse. Been going to Bangkok ever since and have been warned. Sure you might find great dentists in Chiang Mai as well but really not in Pattaya. The Hospital care here is also bad.

Sorry for insulting you but we are talking about someones teeth here and Pattaya isn't a good place to be for teeth.

Not to mention the old equipment they have in Pattaya! Smells like fire... No money here for the good stuff and those well known and big clinics in Bangkok do have great and modern equipment.

I agree people behave like madmen on Sukhumvit. They should lock them up for a year for every violation.

I think the traffic within Pattaya isn't that bad though except that it's always stuck but that don't bother me and my mountainbike. Those bahtbus drivers can be a major annoyance and drive very dangerous when they wanna rush to the side for another 10thb. Nice to know what your life's worth to them!

It's the second accident I witness. The previous one was in Holland and this time I was waiting in front of the traffic lights when a motor crashed into the back of a panda going left.... The guy and his bike made quite a flight and he landed in a nasty angle but at least he wore a helmet and was still moving... This young boy wasn't. To bad I'll never know what happened.

Kind of an old subject I'm pulling up here but I wrote down the Thai 4 Life bookshop and went looking for it twice this week and it doesn't exist or isn't there anymore. Noone knows it! Thanks Graham. I examined the other thai cities on my website as well and at the moment the difference between high and low tide is just about 1m. Looking at your link I think these very low tides will start in april/may/june again because the difference is as much as 2m in these months!

Would have called an ambulance if I had a mobile phone but I don't. I also like salty's answer. Third people should just stay away so a victim can breed, traffic can go on and a docter can do his work properly without a crowd. Fourth I know shit about aiding someone so nope don't like being a "disaster tourist" (translation from dutch term haha) so moved on. If I'd seen who did it or who caused it I would have stayed offcourse.

I want know at what times the water of Pattaya beach reaches it's ultimate low tides. I've been using this website but each time I show up it's hardly really low tide... Or maybe it is lowtide but the water just doesn't go back that far all year I don't know.

I like walking there when the beach is like 200m wide instead of the normal 20m but just can't figure out when this is?!

This is what I've been using but it don't work. Or as mentioned before it does but maybe the lowtide just isn't that low this time of the year.

Low tides

I had good experiences with the gouvernment vet behind the firestation on 3rd road as well as with the vet on pattaya Thai, Pattaya Vetinary Hospital / Nernplubwan.

I'd go there for the simple stuff but for an operation I'd head for Bangkok myself since I don't trust human hospitals nor dentists in Pattaya and therefore am affraid the vets aren't that good either.

I saw this boy have an accident with his motorbike on Sukhumvit road today. I heared a scratching sound behind me and saw his scooter with helmet grinding the highway and the boy right behind it. He looked dead or unconcious at least.

Would like to know what happened if anyone reads about it.

The reason why I'll never drive a car or a motorbike in this country. Back in Holland a foreign woman even tried pushing her <deleted> baby in front of my scooter just to get some money. It resulted in me ending up in the hospital and she getting money for all kinds of jewelry that got damaged. Poor people end up doing the craziest stuff, better watch out!

Fastfood is like candy. It's tasty but it ain't food. It ain't healthy at all. I'm an athlete and when I'm hungry and eat a burger I'm still hungry afterwards and just feel miserable because of it, nothing in there. Offcourse when you drive a car and sit on your lazy ass all day long you will never know. Just the doctors bill will be a bit higher in the end.

There's alot of less inteligent or maybe just uneducated people around who know nothing about nutrition and what a healthy daily meal should consist of and why. I think this especially goes for alot of Thai people so they should be warned! Poor skinny folks ending up like fat american burger addicts

I visited New York once and I was disgusted! Never seen elephant people before and it was just sad.

Any type of restaurant food isn't healthy anyway except maybe for sushi meat but burger joints are the worst.

I'm never gonna see any Pattaya dentist again this lifetime! Be smart and go to Bangkok, please...
