Prayut says SET rising because of junta’s economic management
I believe him. They have a general in education, a general in health, a general in justice, a general in transportation, a general in culture and morals, a general in economics - frankly, they are experts of everything..., except driving a tank. Can't do that, yet.

I spent my twenties in Paris, my thirties to mid-forties in Hawaii, and now I'm in Bangkok in my fifties... It was a blast, all of it! Look forward to my sixties now.

In another topic they are banning expats from having guns.
it is so much easier to amend the law to ban foreign gun ownership and then look like as if they have actually done some gun control, as opposed to restricting everyone (Thais included) from owning guns - now that would be unpopular and that's one thing the government doesn't want to be.

North Korea says Trump has 'lit the wick of war'
More likely he has lit a fire under the voluminous bottom of certain "Dear Leader", who is now fanning the flames with his own flatulence. (that's an alliteration!)

happy to hear there is no problem regarding a problem. In the future, when designating a problem, make sure it is a problem in the first place, otherwise you just solve problems which aren't any.

will it be free? Yes, the voter will have the free choice to vote or not to vote.
will it be fair? That depends on the weather.

I guess that the management of "mental illness" is not part of the non-communicable disease category.

Dr. Taniguchi's response: I believe your vocational institutions are quite on track: Your teachers allow the students to develop and built weapons at their schools, that shows innovation and initiative. These weapons are then used to kill rival students using a natural selection process, that shows future leadership qualities and an astute understanding of how your system and society work. I don't think I can show you anything to improve on your process to Thailand 4.0.

there was scant suggestion that Thai mafia of various kinds was creating problems for tourists.
to paraphrase the kindly government uncles: no Thai mafia could do such a thing

Just adding the relevant bit:
“We have studied the evidence and believe that we have ample and strong evidence that the CNRP opposes Hun Sen, and that will allow the Supreme Court to dissolve the party,” government lawyer Ky Tech told reporters in Phnom Penh after filing the motion.

You should actually hope that people continue not to understand what you are doing, for if they become aware:
