There are reports of plain clothes police amongst the students and today police arrested online gun dealers.
This starts to smell like 2010 and the past!history likely to repeat itself. it is a good step to control the gun trade at least.

I’m sure he is concerned. What’s he gonna to go, arrest or shoot them?
whatever it is that he decides to do, the first issue will be to disseminate full and fair information to explain the whole background situation concerning the dissolution of the opposition party.
-
sure it is an expression of dissatisfaction caused by the dissolution of the opposition party. this is a critical point at which to let the people know both sides of the story so that they can make up their own mind. the problem will be more severe if there is an "outsider' hand in these protests.

Well two more overstayers on their way home.....????
not even tip of the iceberg!

some people do not know their limits. they were already committing an offence by overstaying and they topped it up by engaging in such activities. well deserved whatever punishment is meted out.

If a person clears immigration they are classified as an arrivee, regardless of when they depart again.
good question. they are just transit cases, not tourists.

Wish my bank manager had been trained by TAT, so that every time I open my bank book the numbers go up.
i hope it is the credit figures that go up.

if so then what was the hue and cry about loss of chinese tourists due to COVID-19. or are these figures are before the impact of the virus.

Better inform the people how to sneeze in public without using their hands and other practical stuff.
sick persons should be quarantined in proper medical conditions.

persons who refuse to be tested despite showing symptoms should be isolated immediately to control the spread of the virus. i cannot imagine the reason/s such persons can have for not undergoing the test except that they are foolish (exposing themselves to risk} and selfish, for potential spreading the disease to others.

I don't want to downplay the seriousness of the soon to be pandemic, but I know a few bar girls who could be accused of being "super spreaders".
better to act on such persons now rather than wait to end up in uncontrollable situation.

Attacked with a bar and three onto one. Ambushed. He has nothing to be ashamed of in any way from this unprovoked attack.
debatable as they were three to one at the time of the attack but numerous others would have joined in if the thais were on the receiving end (bet bottom dollar on that). ad they can be cruel and merciless in the attack.

In a bar, not with a bar. 555 It was meant to be a joke, was your reply? If not, funny anyway.
having a broken head may be nothing to be ashamed him ( being outnumbered 3 to 1) but it does not speak well of the thai cowards.

I saw this happen many years ago in Patong but the Army & Police involved on opposite sides.
If it had not been so serious it would have been funny.
The owner of the successful nightclub (again Farang) in the end threw his keys into the middle
& walked away.
His comment to me was "not worth people dying for " & there would have been deaths
sensible approach by the victim but what is the law of the land doing about it? it should not be allowed at all.

what a shame. if you do not have the stomach do not open a business but to beat up someone (that too 3 to 1) is disgraceful.such incidents should be nipped in the bud by deterrent sentencing.

each country has its own right to handle the situation as its deems fit. it is hurting everybody but that is the price w all have to pay for calamities.
